That little pink "guy" (planter) just before Michael showed you Voldemort is called a schmoo. "The shmoo is a fictional cartoon creature created by Al Capp; the character first appeared in the comic strip Li'l Abner on August 31, 1948."
I love AL Capp, I met him in 1953, his son was my roommate in the hospital, he drew Lil Abner for me still have it. It was done in colored pencil.
I recognized the schmoo before I saw the tag. I remember seeing them in the funny papers. Obviously Jocelyn is too young to remember it. (Michael, too!)

My husband has the exact yellow hound dog you just picked up. It was from the flower arrangement his mother got when he was born in 1955.

You've ruined me, I just bought the most amazing lamp. It has a metal eagle on the base with wood and has the most dangerous looking cord, but it worked! I went thrifting for the first time after an entire year. (Covid and cancer). I'm so happy! You and your friends have kept me sane. Thank you!

do not pass on 'ash trays' at a good price-I see every great ash tray that were a staple in every home in the 60's 70's 80's and probably before (I dunno since I wasn't born) for sale on etsy and e bay for absurd prices-they often call them candy dishes -thanks for taking us along and good luck to Michael
