Zain really lost ALL his momentum after that spotdodge rest lmao
that spotdodge shine didn't just hit Zain... it hit my soul... :(
The audio sync at 21:30 is dope
0:35 that double strike was just nasty.
Zain should win by default with that sweater. My man.
😂😂😂😂💀 Great sweater
how many g5's with these two this year and last year holy shit
3:55 very precise edgeguard with that reverse fair!
Hbox called out the up b timing then Zain changed it up next stock at 4:16
Zain with the game 1 pop off aka the Hbox special
10:32 What??? lol
Art yom the ultimate dair buffs went to melee for that
Good commentary and GG
THANKS! :D
Loving hmw's commentary. Especially this tournament
i find he talks about himself too much and doesnt analyze the match as much as Vish. Even feels like Vish sometimes is pushing for HMW to shut up and talk about the specifics of the match
Being in the corner against Puff is very very hard.
what version of melee is dis? they took out the illuminati eye on dreamland.
It’s sad to see him always loose game 5 last stock.
Would you rather see him tight?
I love hype zain hbox sets
its way too hard for marth you gotta outplay puff a lot of times even on a huge outplay like that meteor he did Puff still does not die.
I also think Zain had a lot of opportunities for up B out of shield or reverse up B
where is m2k?
In my opinion game 2 is least important because either way your either tied the game up your 2 down or 2 up every other game is more important cause game three your either trying to end the set or survive the set and if it's tied it's Important for both because who will win that second game first puts pressure on both players so I'm game 2 is least important
What’s the difference between DI and SDI?
DI is when you change the direction of how your character is knocked back; SDI is when you change his positioning during hit lag, right before he's launched. an example of SDI is Puff repositioning after the first hit of Fox's u-air in order to avoid the second hit, which is often lethal.
@@tuanisthename thx I waited 2 months for that lol
The Pobble tech
Go Go zain!!:) / hbox did look very exhausted at this set. did he went ill at this tourney ?
Hbox was healthy at this tournament
what is this 2020 technology!??! Has science gone too far?
Lol me 25:11
“Woke up - rest”
Lets go hbox
Jigglypuff SuperStar lol
13:54 wtf she got arm's behind her back or what?
Every character in melee can do that, it got removed in Smash 4 and Ultimate though
CallFin actually bowser and dk can do it but it’s random and rarely happens edit* in ultimate not in 4 though
Cheese at the end but great set nonetheless
Hungry Box is THE sickest player in Smash
HBox may be the best and he is clearly the most consistent. However, Mang0 will always be sicker than Hbox.
@@joaoqgrossi nah man, look at the data - leffen is much more consistent this year. leffen's worst loss was to moky, a top 15 player, and the rest of his losses are only in top 10. hungrybox has lost to everyone in the top 10 but plup and axe, and also mew2king, albert, and now hax$
@John Marvin But see, leffen only attended like 6 melee events this year whereas hbox attended like 18. It's a lot easier to avoid bad losses when you aren't even giving enough chances for your opponent to try to beat you. Leffen actually dropped out from many melee events this year for this exact reason.
@John Marvin Think about it this way. Let's say player A entered genesis 6 and placed 1st without dropping a set. Then, player A decided that he would not compete in any more tournaments in order to avoid bad losses. Let's say player B lost to Player A in genesis 6 but competed in 10 more events that year and won almost all of them while having a few bad losses. Would you still say that player A is more consistent than player B?
@@jasmithyantro9680 leffen dropped out of the melee events because he either had ultimate schedule conflicts or had visa issues. he didnt pull a hax and just drop whenever he felt like he was playing bad (shine, where he lost to moky, was a case where he was was complaining about playing bad all weekend and didn't drop out). the argument you guys are making might be tenable anyway, but the scenario is still in the range of ambiguity and i think clearly comes out toward leffen. 1 non-top-ten upset vs 4, where hungrybox did not attend 4x as many tournaments. not to mention that leffen's 1 upset is way way better than 2 of hbox's (i'm sorry but if you think that 2018/9 leffen would lose to albert across a hundred tournaments you're insane). it's hard to say the guy is the most consistent player when he has dropped to a literal unranked player and to #25, when there are players with serious attendance who haven't lost below 15 (even if that attendance is less).
Im so sick of hungrybox acting like hes such a beast.. hungrybox is evil
