      Honestly the table is the nuts! I’ve noticed had mine as I changed vans a few months ago abs chucked mine in storage at my parents in their shed due to lockdowns and them being vulnerable I haven’t been round to get it and could so do with it! I’ve contemplated buying another to be fair!
      So many uses and especially I’ve found when doing garden lighting or outside work, Chuck all your tools fixing trays etc in one place and you’re not tripping over it etc👌🏻

    Nice gear getting close to 1K bud told you once you hit that mark your hard work will pay off on the CZcams channel. Some electricians have stopped using the 25mm I would prefer those to be in a 35mm box the more strain on the wires in the back of the box the greater the very small risk of strain on terminations and slow loosening over time, together with thermal and moisture expansion and contraction. No torquing switch connections- in US now torquing of all socket and switch connection is required.

    • @Cablesmith
      @Cablesmith  Před 3 lety +1

      Your right mate, I didn’t even expect over 100 subs tbh.

    Great product - never knew this version of the Quinetic range existed. So easy to retrofit which I suppose is the idea. The shade of the Quinetic upstairs switch is slightly different to the MK plate and switch. Is there a way to match those?

    • @Cablesmith
      @Cablesmith  Před 3 lety +1

      Yep, I’d heard about them but never needed one until now, really good product. As for the colour, I doubt there will be a way to match exactly but I just looked back on the video to check, and it wasn’t anywhere near that noticeable in real life, it could easily never be noticed in person. I think the gopro has picked up the difference a lot more than it looked.

      Any idea how the powered switch side works internally if it does not need a neutral? I guess it has a battery that only charges when it is powered on? I am not an electrician so I have no idea! The simple switch side is kinetic and does not need a battery - that is obvious.

      @@sidremey If I was to say I knew I’d be lying, I know some smart switches require you to install come kind of capacitor across the live & neutral at the light for it to work, if there isn’t a neutral at the switch. But nope, no idea.
