Silvas head movement should be loose not the same as all fighters
It's faster. The higher the head movement rating the bigger the frame leeway you have to dodge strikes. You'll feel it when you play as him even if it isn't super evident as a spectator.

DBdG574 It does feel a lot better but I hate the way switched up the high/low block controls. They made so that high is right trigger, but low is now both triggers at once. I really hope they figured out an alternative scheme.

What I loved in the Beta was that even if you controlled the fight, one lucky punch from the other guy might just Ko you because of the vulnerability system. Sometimes is annoying and feels undeserved , but at least you know it happens in real life so it's nice to have some weapons to stop the spammers. They still need to improve lots of things tho'.
Damn, 6 years later and THQ UFC 3 still looks like the best UFC game.
They need to bring back Silva's signature taunts.
I watched UFC 3 gameplay on different weightclasses. They all feel the same I think. Movements are all the same. No different between a heavyweight and a featherweight. And that strike sound effect.. horrible
How does it feel different if you haven't even played with the heavyweights.

Then perhaps they should be playing with the new physics with these video releases instead of releasing them like its the end game version! The damn game releases in less than 1 week.

Not at all, it’s definitely realistic, the real player motion and everything. I just don’t find it personally as satisfying. I liked the occasional flip in ufc 2, the insane punches and damage from them. That’s the point of a video game in my opinion, just to have fun. I’m not really satisfied with this 🤷♂️,definitely not a ufc 2 spammer. Just someone who likes having fun!
The movements look weird
When you get the hang of it, it's pretty fun but the buttons are over the place, using the right stick to dodge feels very foreign to me lol

1+respawn there are actually some new combinations like lead leg kick to straight punch which it was impossible to do in the previous games. And players will have to play with a realistic style to win this time because every strike has his kryptonite so you'll have to be unorthodoxe and move your head non stop. The beta was very fun. Can't wait for the game.

The combat is very stiff in this one and they every fighter has the same combo moves.
In UFC 2 everyone had there own unique fighting style.

feel the same way. Im an avid MMA watcher/follower and I love the way its turning out to be more realistic. Totally agree I don't think this game will be as casual friendly as the previous EA UFC's. Cant wait especially for the career mode. Big big step up from UFC 2. Interesting to see how each aspect of maintaining your career would go. Instead of the usual train/fight type thing we got on the previous ones. Cheers!

Soulless1666 it looks and feels realistic. 1 bad move cans end the night like look at dc vs Jones 2 and the way that ended the same thing can happen in ufc 3 also you can strategically play the game like pick the fighter off at distances or brawl or attack legs or wrestle them or get them tired and break him down unlike ufc 2 you can’t really have a strategy.

No it wasn't. Fighters use constant movement in fights, especially these two. If you think stopping to throw every strike with exchanges being completely planted in UFC 2 was more realistic you don't know what's real in the first place.

DX Master 6199 There is ragdoll. They've toned it down so it's not as ridiculous as the last two games and hopefully less likely to glitch.
Why do the punches look like they are holding themselves back? They need be throwing punches full extension. Fix those animations to actually swing and not feel like they stop mid way to the destination.
