What they call the "New Wave" is a nice hike just north of the dam. Look for a left turn towards Beehive campground and follow the road to the left. Park and explore the waves of sandstone.
Visit Glen Canyon Dam overlook on the west just after you enter the city limits of Page from the dam. Great views of the dam and river. Be careful at the edge!!!
Horseshoe Bend is just south outside of page. You can't miss the big sign right on the highway.
Drive 40 minutes south of Page to Marble Canyon and Lee's Ferry. Visit Navajo Bridge and then drive toward Lee's Ferry. The trailhead to Cathedral Wash is on the way. Visit historic Lee's Ferry and hike the Spencer Trail, fish the Colorado. There is a campground at Lee's Ferry.
Be sure to ask any questions you may have!!!

When there's enough water to fill those voids and temperatures are warm enough, you can sometimes find little shrimp in temporary pools that form in the area. Nice vid, thanks for posting!

The hike is about 9 miles round trip. It takes about 90 minutes to get to the first section. We have a video just on that hike, if you haven't already watched it.
