- Blackpool Pleasure Beach Roller Coaster Challenge in April 2024. We went to the Pleasure Beach on a sunny off peak day, and tried to get on all the roller coasters.

We went on Friday. It was my first visit for about 10 years and the first as a dad. Thank you Scott for your encouragement in a recent reply about taking children to the park.
I was bowled over what a good day we had, including lots of misty eyed childhood nostalgia from me.
The rides were great but the staff were amazing. How friendly were they all.
The park was really clean and well maintained on the whole.
Got to say the National was very rough but still fun. Regretted going on Icon after a foot long Rollover dog and it nearly made a reappearance! Saw a car getting changed on the ride which was fascinating. Was green after so glad I didn’t go on the Enzo.
Can’t wait to go back.

Great video. I enjoyed this one as it was fun seeing whether you'd make the ALL COASTER achievement that day. I didn't know that the larger seats on Icon (which I use) are taken off when ENZO appears so I recon that Mike should get the ALL COASTER credit!
The way they handle running enso on the quieter days has been known to annoy people

I'm a larger person and I do wonder what size is Mike to give myself an idea of what i could fit on if i visit Pleasure Beach myself.
NICE TO HAVE FINALLY MET YOU TO SAY HELLO, REMEMBER I SAID I DO THE CAROUSEL, EVEN THAT WENT WRONG ON FRIDAY MUSIC CONKED OUT, I HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY ARE GOING TO DO AWAY WITH THE ORGAN SYSTEM AND DO IT FROM A TRACK MACHINE, LIKE ON THE ONE FOR LITTLE KIDS BY AVALANCHE THAT I DO AS WELL.

Does the park open before the rides open like at alton towers or does it open at 10am on the dot? Going bank holiday monday and wondering what time to get there for.
They usually stagger the ride opens in the first hour
I went Saturday and I could do all the rides by lunch , it was so quite in the morning 🙂

I might have missed it but I'm curious as to why you cant ride the icon enzo train? What makes it different from the other one regarding sizing?
Seats are smaller than the back row seats

You should do an “every ride” challenge, Alice in wonderland, ghost trains etc and see if it’s possible 😂 (on a quiet day of course). Or even an every small ride challenge

BPB surely have to be concerned at what seems to be a lack of visitors? Understand that this was a Thursday btw. Great when you can just walk on rides but it cannot be good for the park. Haven’t seen one picture or video of a busy park this season. £15 walk around ticket is surely a no brainer at this point.
Sadly it’s been almost as quiet on some weekend days 😢

For park tickets it’s always cheaper booking in advance

Maybe so, but the point being the Enso train reduces capacity and reduces how many can ride whilst on a one train service.

No, Sean (Lift Hills), Marcus (Thrill Riders), Blooloop & Theme Parks UK were the only UK attendees.
I was unable to regardless, but will be going soon 😊
@@yourexperienceguide I do find it weird that you and Tpw didnt get invited to ride and review. Same with Top Thrill 2, only smaller channels got invited to media event 🤷🏼♂️
@@ImTheAnteh I’m happy Sean was invited, he’s been working with the Mack family on a few things that aren’t all public.
I’m honestly ok about not getting an invite, I genuinely couldn’t make it last week so it’d have been wasted on me.

Once we took a break it took us until 3 ish

I really hate seeing the park in the state that its in, theres far too much money that the park needs to spend on repairs, ice blast...river caves...big one retrack....i cant see BPB recovering from it
It's a sad situation
Am I the only one fearing that Pleasure Beach and all its history is going down the toilet because of a lack of willingness to maintain it? Wish she’d sell up and let someone who cares about the park actually save it for future generations…
Pleasure Beach are still flying ahead as far as maintenance is concerned. They have a large collection of older rides which cost a lot of money and they're all in a pretty good state. There have been some problems this season but overall it's a complete anomaly. Towers on the other hand has a cable car that is broken and a vekoma madhouse which is not operating.
@@dylant9963BPB have far bigger problems than Towers.
Grand Prix, Ice Blast & River Caves the public ones, with more closures likely.
Merlin have the money to fix their problems and can continue to invest. BPBR need to spend a lot, with dwindling attendances, to even keep what they have. I’d be concerned if it was my park.

The Big One is a pile of crap, it needs to be knocked down and replaced with a B&M.

I know Andy attends events with you. Seems like you all take the piss out of him and think you're better. You're all just going to theme parks. You're not famous. I think some of you need to remember that. Especially Sean and Jack.
@@jamesneale6210 James it’s banter, Andy regularly comments on my appearance and mannerisms when I see him, and I poke fun back at him. We’ve both worked in a construction and engineering environment, it’s normal.
Jack has made a career off the back off his channel, and Shawn TPW is probably more famous than most of those who went in celebrity big brother in January
