Ibanez Prestige RG1570 and EVH 5150 III EL34 - Jam Session

- Just a simple jam session I wanted to share with you! Playing my Ibanez RG1570 through my EVH 5150 III (EL34) tube amp!
For all of the high gain tones, I used my MXR Smart Gate (noise gate) and my Boss Digital Delay DD7 pedals.
For the clean tones, I used that same delay with my MRS Analog Chorus pedals.
I just miked this up with the Shure SM57 mic, running directly through my Presonus Quantum 2 interface. And I recorded this in Presonus Studio One.
I used 2 Studio One plugins for these tracks:
Compressor
EQ
That was just enough to take out some of the low-end that comes from the Ibanez stock pickups (V7, S1, V8), which I'm actually changing out soon to the DiMarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton pickups.
That's it! I love this guitar and amp, and together they sound pretty awesome!

@@jasonstallworth your very welcome. Man, I own 96% of all plugins including stuff like PA and Waves and I have to say that Bias FX 2 and Bias Amp 2 are just great. You can get extremely accurate tones.

That chorus sounds so sweet
Dude I've always been a sucker for chorus on clean tones! It gives it this magical sound! MXR Analog chorus!!
Ibanez and Dimarzio pickups go together like peanut butter and jelly
Sounds great - nice melodic playing! Nice not hearing dropped-B chugging all the time with these amps! Looks like a tasty IPA in the background too!
Lol...yeah man, I know many drop tune but it's something I've never got into. I like the sound, tone, and feel of standard tuning

I have a Prestige too. I think they are the same pickups or similar. They ain't bad but probably going to change mine out too at some point. Enjoyed hearing the jammin, man! Nice tones!
Yeah, dude, they give you a distinct sound and I've struggled over the years in changing them out for that reason. But I just want a little more kick and sustain, which is why I'm changing them soon
