I did have some mtb sized tires that had a max pressure of 100psi. Fastest rolling tires I had the pleasure of riding and the fastest to try to kill me when the road wasn't perfect.

The answer is always: As low as possible until you start rolling the casing in turns. Unless youre tubeless, and it depends on what type of casing you have.
People tend to run their tyres way too hard. I run lightweight XC tyres around 20 PSI as an 80kg rider. Any chunkier tyres can go down to 18 PSI for better grip. And if you think these values are too low, they are exactly what most pros run.
Whenever I get a new tire that I haven't tried before do I over inflate something like 5 psi over what I think I'm gonna need, go for a run down the mountain and have small stops on the way down to take out some pressure until it feels just right and then check what pressure I'm at.
How do you like the continentals? I’ve been riding them for the past month here in Australia after struggling to find them and they are probably the best tire I’ve ever owned
I ride my mountain bike mostly on roads and sometimes on trails it does say on the tire that you can fill up to 45 which is max but I don’t know what to keep It’s not a tubeless.
When people ask a seemingly perfectly simple and innocuous question, but you know too much. If you're honest to them you tell em the 90%+ answer after getting about 2 questions in. Most people don't care about perfect despite their protestations.
If your tire won't reach 100 PSI, sometimes you gotta top it off by mouth
Nothing nore annoying than your tyres only being 99% full that last 1psi to 100 for them to be 100% full is always the hardest
@@blakemoresimonI hate when my car won’t double jump

And if you have a $3,000 MTB you only ride on roads, 50psi.
The verge of explosion 💥 I hate rolling resistance and like surprises!
😂
“Wanna go play some hell divers 2?”
Heck yea I do!! 😂
Helldivers mentioned 🔥🔥
Look on the side of your tire and go 75% into the range
If its too soft increase the pressure by 5psi
Works for me
I go for a completely different approach - look at the minimum pressure then subtract 5 then if it’s too soft add like 2.5 more

Don't forget rim inserts 😅 and all the different ones

google: silca tire pressure

Didn't even stick around for the discussion on inserts? It's like he didn't even want an answer
No commitment! 😂
Road 100 city 50 and MTB 35.
There we go.
This is the same answer you get when you ask someone how much range you get out of an ebike. 😂
I just run around 2 bars on my enduro take a bit out if needed but thats it

Absolutely! I love riding out there! 🔥

100% agree. I love them. Huge fan!
You should also never turn your bike upside down like that because that decreases tire pressure

Personally tubed tyres... 44 psi in everything bmx or mountain. Never had issue, 44 because the hiss is probably 4 psi 😂
@@jay36963 whats hiss?? Lol
Ez 24-22 front 23-26 rear
Idk 30 is usually good for trails, 50 on valleys, and on road as much air a i can squeeze in the damn tire without exploding it.
Is it SB6 ?

40 psi prolly.

Sooo.... What's the perfect tyre pressure?
24 psi is good
21 psi tubeless dh casting tire inserts.
Usually 45-50.
I do 23.452. Actually, I’m 6’ and 225lbs running 29” tubeless mostly on smoother tight single tract. 23.5 works well for me.

I don’t even know what tech and flow trails what is going on
tech flows are chunky. flow trails are smooth and fast!
@@CaliradoKid ohhhhh ok makes sense
30 psi (stop bending rims)
Around rocks that’s probably about right
yea I think I tend to hover around 25-27 psi.

don’t mean to be a hater but this cringe
I ride whatever my tires at when I bought my bike a year ago
If you've not added any air, they aren't at what they were a year ago
