I alway imagine any "Aces" character always depicted as a glorious undefeatable knight with shiny armor, but now i want to see them as ruthless in bloodstained armor
"Ask the ghosts of the dead if honor matters and their silence is your answer" saw this quote (or something along those lines) which lead me to a similar train of thought about how AC protagonists are typically portrayed. Dawn does seem like it might do something similar to that.
Basically every enemy in Aces sees them that way. The Grim Reaper, The Three Strikes (mark of damnation), Demons of Razgriz, Nemesis. One side sees them as knights the other side sees them as demons
@@SomeKrieger My favorite part of the air combat games is when the enemies recognize your reign of terror and freak out over the radio. Either fleeing in hopelessness or struggling to put up a futile defense.

For me it's the complexity of the rhythm and percussion mix, combining conventional instrument and techno-style noise.. And obviously the sinister aura yet optimistic attitude that exudes from the harmony.. (not being hyperbolic, but that's what i got)@@DEDomain

The clock ticking, the change in tempo. The increase in ferocity like a predator chasing its prey. The use of the music box adding in that aspect of fear and dread. I had goosebumps throughout the entire song! Love your work!
It is absolutely criminal how underrated you are as a composer, Jose. I regularly listen to stuff that has millions of views, famous songs, pieces composed by legendary artists, and I always, always find myself coming back to your work. I truly thing you're a uniquely talented person and I hope some day your name will be as ubiquitous and known as John Williams and Hans Zimmer. I can't wait to watch a movie at the theater and see "Jose Pavli" in the credits, man.

It just feels like our ace, either Zodiac or the other one with the Black F-15 is being held back momentarily, his orders are not to fire as his target is right in front of him, he's being told to wait for the right moment, but he just can't. The electronic glitching is like every nerve in his body screaming to be let loose, and that sudden SCP-682-esque roar is like the moment where he either has enough and decides "fuck it, I'm killing this bitch now" or he finally gets the order.

The other pilot who is thought to be the main rival to Zodiac was given the tac name 'Reaper'.

Jose, ever since i discovered Project Wingman your music has had such an impact on my liking for music. Everything you have composed is the reason why i have been so interested in music recently and i cannot even describe how gratefull i am for that.
If i lived in europe and had a succesfull job like i do now, i would probably be sending half of my pay on this project every week. The music you make has been a litteral blessing to my ears.

That small vocal at the beginning sounds like a child crying, and its really off putting given the context from the trailers. I love it
This feels like a search and destroy track. Swiftly cruising overhead and occasionally diving towards targets and deleting them in short bursts of cannon fire. Unstoppable, unchallenged, a terror of the skies hunting earthly prey at will.

This is gonna be good... Also, I've got this clock in my house that plays a bell sound every hour, and sometimes when it does all I hear is "Sons of Freedom..." playing in my mind.
the sense of urgency with the clock ticking & music toy box sounds are such complementary to the overall song.

I'm trying to get into composing music, and somehow you just fart out incredible tracks that are as WONDERFULLY INSPIRING to keep going as they are RUTHLESSLY INTIMIDATING to not even try. If I ever made something half as good as this track I'd be so proud of myself. You've got an incredible gift and I love listening to everything you put out.
Most people always see aces from the side of the hero. But not everyone sees them as such. Could you imagine being your average fighter pilot and have the misfortune of engaging with a legend like , Galm 1, Monarch or the likes of Three Strikes or Mobius 1. The sheer dread would be palpable. Just the thought that your life expectancy just disappeared into a missle trail.

Reminds me of the, "Peacekeeper," themes from Project Wingman and, "Tail Man," from Ace Combat 7. There's a menacing, frantic percussion and tempo to this track that can only belong to an ace squadron.

this song scares me because just what kind of mission would require this kind of song. the Conscience of Power mission gave me the feeling of helplessness just watching all those missiles hit the city and hearing the soldiers saying that the earth under them is tearing apart. just makes me think about just how you manage to one-up Belkin's. seeing how you put some much into project wingman I look forward to seeing just what you can do with Dawn. The sky maybe unknown but you seem to know the way good luck.
