I don't know if people appreciate the ingenuity of the street food owner's gadgets. They always create cool inventive ways to expedite their product and tailor it to their need. For example, this pancake canister hanging from the ceiling and a hose connected to it to push out the pancake batter. I love that. It's one of the things I like to look at when seeing people create food in the street. This all looks very yummy. I hate being in the United States when I watch these because it reminds me of how far away I am from it all lol

I love hotteok, I saw it in a video and had to try it so I got the recipe and made it. Also, some places do more then 1 type, the other one that is good is made with Nutella.
Sweet stuffed, pan-fried pancakes. Will wonders never cease.

The grilled sandwich is very similar to the Texas toast we have here just we have a hamburger meat and in the video they're using ham. Looks great!

3か月前に韓国に行き、明洞で甘いホットクを食べました。紙コップに入っていたので少し驚きましたが食べやすかった。それに、とても美味しかった！中に入っている黒糖ナッツが良いですね。また食べたいです。

틀에 반죽을 짜고, 호떡 누름판에 기름 묻혀서 한번 눌러서 반죽이 틀에 얇게 꽉 차게한 후 설탕을 넣어주면 더 낫지 않을까요? 맛있어 보여요
한 20년전에 동네에 오이도호떡을 파셨던 말을 못하시는 삼촌이 계셨었는데 내가 알던 호떡이랑 너무 달라서 사먹어봤는데 너무나도 맛집이었던거임 빵처럼 부풀어있는 두꺼운 호떡이었는데 그 어떤 호떡을 먹어도 그 맛을 넘는 호떡은 없더라 어디선가 오이도호떡 이라는걸 파는걸 목격한다면 꼭 들 사드셔보세요 진짜 고소하고 안느끼하고 정말 맛있습니다 20년이 지난 지금도 맛이 기억이나네요

Does anyone know the reason for making the first 8 in the metal rings? After flipping them, they were squashed flad and ended up looking like all the other ones. I'm sure there is a reason, just wondering what it is :-) And I agree with all the comments saying that this looks absolutely amazing.

was wondering the same thing. it looks great but why those rings if you are just going to flatten the other ones. i thought maybe it was efficiency and faster to put them in the ring and move them in one motion for 8 of them but i dont know...shrug....

1. 영상 속의 샌드위치는
한국에서는 '토스트' 라는 이름으로 불립니다. 우리는 저것을 주로 '길거리 토스트'(Street toast) 라고 부릅니다.
재료는 일반적으로
식빵, 달걀 + 잘게 썰은 양배추 + 당근, 샌드위치 전용 슬라이스 햄이 쓰입니다.
거기에 가게마다 조금씩 레시피가 달라집니다. 영상 속의 초록색 시럽은 일반적으로는 쓰지않는 방식이며, 저 푸드트럭의 고유 레시피일 것입니다.
한국의 일부 프렌차이즈에서는 저런 소스를 첨가하는데, 보통 달콤한 맛을 선호합니다. 아주 약간의 산미가 있을 수도 있습니다.
2. 팬케이크는 호떡(Ho-tteok)이라는 음식입니다.

Whether it's for "street food," bakery or bread type production in privately owned bakeries, or commercial food preparation facilities. One of my short term careers involved working in very good quality restaurant kitchens👩🍳 in various roles, and I learned a great deal from them. I also taught THEM a few things as well!😏 But one thing I especially enjoy is watching the videos which include English subtitles, which not only explain what is being showed, but also where the ingredients they are using is also listed as they are being used. Especially in baking. I have also noticed in all of them that they are very careful NOT to show the scale's weight of the ingredients when they are being portioned out! I have only caught a view of the scale about 3 or 4 times total, and I have been watching these for months!
