As a Solution Architect, I found this post extremely helpful to understand Integration Patterns and how to use one over the other. The demo was great as it allowed me to see a working solution. The presentation was spot on and the commentary by Jit was paced well. It will be in my watch again videos. Aug 2020

Btw i always struggle when it comes to Orchestration in integration.
Should SF do orchestration or is it Middleware?
Should I follow the rule - which ever system needs the data should get it (instead of it being pushed to them)?
What about then almost building the same api logic/business rule in every new system that needa the data..
How much logic should Middleware have if it has to do orchestration
Would be nice if there was a session about such enterprise architecture designs..
How to build a global system that supports local processes as well - like sending data to a system only for a certain country..
We can plan same kind of session in future

I think that calling an external API in a trigger should be avoid, I don't believe that someone should consider it as an option.
