  • I'm learning a new tune a day. Today I learned a reel composed by Tommy Peoples called The Green Fields of Glentown. It was suggested to me by youtuber @fiddle4u because of my known affinity for long and twisty reels. Thanks for the suggestion! But you ought to know it took me forever to learn and record this today. I can't wait to go to bed now.

    Beautiful tune and playing! Love that "breathy" bow hand of yours, that pulse is something I'm trying to bring into my own playing.. Any chance you could send me a bit of bowing or tips on that one? :-D keep it up, love your videos.

    Love this version. Sounds very similar to Ashley MacIsaac's! May I ask where I can find the music for this variation?

      Thanks Andrew! I don't have sheet music - I learned it from a recording. It looks like the sheet music for it at thesession is very close though. I'll put the link in the description.
