There was a situation like this where I live in Portland. A group of predator poachers on CZcams found in caught this guy talking to a 14-year-old boy and they chased him down to the big lots across the street from my gas station. Once they called the police and 4-5 cops were there they basically told them that because the Sting wasn’t completed by a police officer they couldn’t do anything and let the guy go. Even tho the texts they had were more than enough to do something. It was sad to see.
Mora of the story…don’t get law enforcement involved. They protect criminals more than law abiding citizens

I agree that EDP should never have a platform again, but to imply that he should never have _any friends in any form at all_ ever again and essentially spend the rest of his life without any communication or human connection is a little much. He ain’t getting laid ever again, that’s for the best. He ain’t getting real paper or a decent job ever again, which is deserved. He’s NEVER going to be able to go near any kids, and thank god for that. I think if the guy managed to keep one or two friends he can talk to though, that’s not something we gotta try and take away as long as they aren’t enabling further sus stuff. Every human being needs to be able to socialize. Otherwise they’ll just get worse and worse.

Since he was caught again after the big exposure on Dramaalart he had been caught msging that one teen. I hate when people are like "To Catch a Predator is entrapment" no dawg, they did not place the crime on you. You CHOSE to reach out to a little girl/boy. You CHOSE to send them nudes and sext. You CHOSE to show up at their house with duct tape, rope, and condoms. Nobody placed those items on you. You chose to seek out a child. That is not entrapment, and people who defend actual predators in that manner are concerning and should probably be looked into.
Tbf I think there were some cases like early om when they thought it would be like a 15 minute showtime thing there was like slight entraemt but obviously by like the second investigation they started working with the police
It's more than likely that they're self aware of that, they just tried to come up with an excuse on the spot which obviously didn't work out for them.
