Question: once the prayer to the higher self (for lack of better words) has reached the moment of union between the two. Do you personally find yourself or others invoking prayer to be aligned with raw energies? Or invoking specific archetype figures related to one’s own framework to use pre-established channels for a desired goal? I figure the short answer is along the lines of “it depends” but im curious if a more nuanced take can be found Thank you for the video as well

That's incorrect. I meant what I said: Magick: Book 4 vol II. It was originally printed as a separate book like the yellow first edition of Magick: Book 4 vol I that I showed on screen. Behind me is a modern reprinting of several texts. It is not the stand alone Magick: Book 4 vol II. I genuinely can't believe prayer has to be explained, knees jerk reactions to prayer means parochial world view and AC will just not fit well with such superstition.
There are a lot of different people out there on different points on their journey. Some people have a difficult past or religious trauma that makes this a hard subject for them. Their experiences and perspective don't make them any less worthy to find meaning in the work of Aleister Crowley. They deserve to be here as much as anyone else.
@@MaeviusLynn indeed that must be true but seeking some help on those issues before doing magick would make sailing much smoother. Magick is like a psychedelic and like psychedelics it only works on a few, neurosis needs working on before not during.

That's between a person and their medical team. The point I am making is that yes there are different people out there who need different background information to appreciate and understand the subjects I am teaching on. I speak to all levels in this particular video. Despite your experience otherwise, there is in fact a large demographic of people who become interested in the occult who know nothing or have some kind of trauma, especially religious trauma. I feel that the definition part was absolutely necessary.
