This is the final video of my Monster Hunter Bone Armor! Check out the previous ones if you want to see how I made the costume! In this video I’m going to show you how I made the "Talon Carver" Dual Blades out of simple foam sheets, PVC pipes and some primer and paint! Enjoy!

One thing I’ve seen OdenMakes do that I think would go well with the dremmel on the “bone” part is where you put a slice through the foam with a blade and then use the heat gun on that and it opens the cut line and makes thin lines
Yes this works but wouldn't be large enough here.
I think that works well for technical / mechanical stuff but the cuts will look to clean and regular for these knives. The dremel gives it a more irregular and organic look which fits the "bone" material better.
Svetlana may not have invented the art form but she's carrying it to it's highest expression.
You make it look so easy! I have such a hard time dremeling, it just never seems to come out well :/
You could use thinner pvc pipe. Or metal wire so they aren't so bulky. Just a suggestion
Being bulky is their design though. I actually made them even thinner than the reference! 😅

hello, i see your work and i am just so amazed by it that it reignited a spark in me. i have always wanted to cosplay ever since when i was in middle school and bringing my favorite characters from games and anime to life, however other priorities took over in life which had me to put down my dreams of being a creator and cosplaying. I am 29 now, financially capable of cosplaying and creating things, but i want to know, is 29 too old to cosplay? am i too late to do this?

I would look into Gorilla glue. It will take a little longer to dry, but it has a very strong bond.
You still need to make a greatsword from mwh lol maybe the nergigante version haha
