Still mind boggling that this is Fortnite half the time, so many people (including myself) most of the time that we don't even realise how beautiful the game is
most people have never seen the max settings of Fortnite, as they play on performance mode, but lumen and nanite makes this game look insanely good

I am not denying that the game looks good at the moment with max settings, just simply stating that I prefer the old graphics over the new ones, although not because of nostalgia reasons.

4k drops to 60 fps but 1920x1080p goes just fine! around 300 or more! fps at ultra.
300 if you have rt and lumen off. With both on you get around 140fps @ 1080p
If you're playing 1080p you don't need a 4090. If you have a 4090 the minimum monitor spec you should have is 1440p 144hz, no point spending $2K on a GPU and then only $150 on a 1080p gaming monitor. 1440p 144hz costs like $250 - $350 depending on the panel. 4K 144hz you can find for sub $600USD range nowadays, which is the way forward, 1080p is too pixelated.
With GPU's you're gonna see a big performance increase in coming generations, 3080 to 4080 performance difference is like close to 40% if that keeps up in 5 years we'll have a RTX6060 which is better than the 4090 and 4K monitors are getting cheaper and cheaper, that's when we will have a mass exodus from 1080p to 4K for Gaming.
Also.. chin Li is a skin made for men of culture 🫠

honestly i overestimated this gpu. For me as a person with 165 hz monitor its REALLY hard to play any shoter at 120>, and on this vid even with best gpu (tho all the graphics are maxed out) its not even stable 60. sad, but i guess nobody would play game like this this way anyway
It's because it's in 4k. I have a 3070Ti and in 1440p I get around 80FPS on max graphics, which the 3070Ti is significantly weaker than the 4090.

Now try to do it in 4k. When you increase the resolution, you are increasing the number of pixels that have to be rendered. Meaning if you double the resolution, you double the pixel count, and therefore get approximately half of the frames.

I am not really a pro at this game, I just play when I have time, and there is massive input delay and big frame drops when building or moving around the map at 4k max settings, so can't really do anything about the gameplay tbh.
