Just watched another video by someone who had an i9-13900K which continually was below 60fps the entire game except in pregame lobby and bus flyover. That leads me to believe that the 4090 is capable of going 60+ fps on this game, but the CPU end of gaming is lagging in strength. Time for CPU manufacturers to develop stronger ones.

Although I wonder if Fortnite is optimized to use an AMD CPU? Back in Ch. 1, I was using a standard office-style HP Pavilion laptop which had an AMD A10. The game worked okay with lowered settings, but I did notice that the pre-game lobby had background blur when post-processing was turned on. With most other setups I'd seen, this wasn't the case.

I play everyday like this but in a g9 Samsung display. Around 70-90 fps, soñé differencies : I using 5950x and 64gb ram

I have tried playing in 4k PC, the amount of input lag is unreal, it's soooo hard to play
do you play on controller and if so then do you have ge force low input latency mode on? also if so have you tried v sync and lowering your refresh rate?
go 60fyps and you wont get as much lag

In 4k max setting it's very hard to aim or shoot consistently, + my monitor is only 60hz and no gsync, normally I would pick havoc over maven, and for breacher I was too lazy to go back and grab it lol

Ive honestly gotten tierd of getting frame drops every second and my games not even being able to run 60 constantly anymore. But most games have become way more demanding even in 1080p such as fortnite. I cant get into a midgame fight without dying beacuse my fps decides to drop as soon as somone shoots at me

Play Zero Builds. It's a lot of fun and less stressful. I'm loving the graphics in Fortnite now. I wasn't a fan when the game first launched.

Even if a GeForce had rtx it would get 0 FPS at ray tracing highest settings

first of all, this game is crap on a pc at 60FPS' a bit of action, and you're already dropping below 60, ray tracing needs to be turned off, virtual shadows no more than medium, and most settings on high and not epic, that will maybe keep you at 90-100. (alas DLSS is crap and literally doesnt do much)
you use these type of quality only when you are benchmarking, or seeing it for yourself, during actual gameplay its better to use all lowest, it gives the lowest input lag + high framerate
