  • two-two-two-thousand-twenty-two seemed like a good day for an upload. This amazing composition from James Taylor's iconic 1977 JT release (the peak of his commercial success) is less well remembered than some of the other songs from the album, perhaps because James' marriage to Carly Simon broke up a few years later, and he rarely if ever performed it afterwards (there is one version on YT from the mid or late 80s where he conspicuously leaves out the "Carly i do love you" line). I can't find any information about whether JT composed the song on piano, as he is listed as the sole writer. No commercial use.

Nice job. I think having a close mic for your vocal would have made this even nicer.

I'm glad you appreciated it, because i had about 200 failed takes on this one over the last year.

I have a request if it is ok. Since you also like Elton John, could you maybe do a cover of Cold Heart by Dua Lipa, Elton John? This song is a gem as a fan of Dua Lipa

It definitely won't be good if the other guys in the band find out that i am playing this soft rock.
Are you still on Woodman St.?
