Sorry, but I gotta say the road with the many hairpin turns is a vivid illustration of what it is like to tack on your sailboat. And, I had a very hard morning with lots of computer problems caused by system upgrades. But since watching your video, my mood has dramatically changed. So, thank you for that. :¬) Webhead USA
Matt, Glad i wasn't the only one who thought a sporty car would have been amazing on that road! Although it looks like traffic would make it tricky anyway. Beautiful video. Those drone shots were amazing! Keep them coming!
One of your best videos yet! As we watched it, I kept thinking how photos and videos never do scenery justice. If the places you visited were that beautiful in a video, I could only imagine what they looked like in person. Thanks for letting us get a close-up view of some amazing natural beauty. Love you both!
You're right! The clarity of the water over those rocks was amazing. Matt's excitement over it was fun. Clean it up, J! Too funny. See what being a sailor has done to you. Snowball fight! Boy, what a drive. How do you keep track of what side of the road for each country. What a visual treat coming down those hairpins. Narrow roads. How do they not have a million accidents? Hairpins, narrow road, and awesome scenery to distract. Thank you for risking your lives (and putting up the drone) for those spectacular views. And, yes Matt, what you needed was one more thing to concentrate on, a clutch/stickshift! Good driving. I'm guessing you'd last no more than a minute in the water. Instafreeze! What a fantastic day you two had. You could see it in your faces. Long time coming and well earned. Incidentlally, this version of Pandemonium has just stuck in my head since I first commented on it. Thank you. And this sounds a little goofy, but when I listen to the vocal (and it's sad that she's no longer with us), I could have been convinced (I don't know if you can sing a note or not) that this was Jessica singing. It sounds a bit like you. Anyway... Thanks for sharing your day. And good on you, J-Lo, for the beer, and I suspect the car loaner.
I think I might have to stop watching your channel.... Y'all are slowly but surely turning my bucket list into a 55 gallon drum list!!!! ;-D Thanks for bringing us along on your fantastic adventures!!!!
You are a very lucky couple I love watching your videos I watch your videos for a long time when you first got your boat and you worked on it y'all seem like you're very happy me and my wife had a dream to travel around the world we bought a sailboat We didn't get to joy it much because we worked on it in about six months later we was on vacation my wife got stuck in elevator Zaidi tack she passed away at 55 but she was my world she was the love of my life we share 29 great years together I just wanna say thank you for your videos

i had NO IDEA Norway would be like this. !!!!! i've been to switzerland twice , and this is even more breathtaking.!!! thanks for the view.!!!!!
At 7:20 minutes, I'm thinking you should have hugged while standing in an apparent rock field left by a glacier with a backdrop of mountains and valleys, and said to each other that this is why you came to Norway. Lovely. :¬) Webhead USA
Be careful guys...@ 6:25 or so, a family of Sasquatch were above you on the cliff running around playing Reindeer Games. Phew, good thing they were distracted. Gorgeous views guys, thanks for the ride along!
Great video Matt and Jess I was there on that Zig Zag in 2005 what a great trip we were on Hurtigruten Midnatsol greatest voyage in the world from Bergen to Kirkenes Check out Norcap the most northerly point of Europe. Thanks for the videos
Wow guys, Those waterfalls are beautiful and stunning!!! Can you load them up on your boat and bring them to Phoenix Arizona.??? Looks like you guys find all the cool places, and we(I) just can not Thank you enough for filming all the places you guys sail too, hike around, drive too!!! I must say that you two beautiful people are meant for each other, and it shows in the video’s!!! Stay safe and smiling.
Aye m8's! I'm so happy to see how you both enjoy this part of the world. This is how it looks like mile after mile for about the rest of Scandinavian coastline. Thnx for sharing your enthusiasm ❤️
Really really enjoyed this video you guys!! Amazing editing Jessica!! One of the best you have put out in my opinion!! Love how you mixed the drone shots in with the drive...AMAZING> You guys are SO lucky to be there!!
I wish you would have taken some pictures of the motorcyclists and maybe did a short Q & A with them. Some of my Harley friends have similar pictures of their travels on winding roads here in the States!
oh my GOD! as a photographer, i'm as so jealous. i can just picture the my shots just watching you! a nature landscape photographers dream in a nut shell, oh my GOD !!
These are the kind of places I want to go on a sailboat, less skimpy clothing, but amazing scenery and good beer. Thanks for sharing you northern adventures.
Wow! Never thought of Norway as a place I would want to go, but you guys have really turned me on to it. Although, I wouldn’t sail my boat there, but I’m glad you guys did. Spectacular views and great videography....pleasant personalities to follow also. Have I said enough nice things yet?...lol
Thank you so much!! It's nice to know the production is appreciated and having spent 2 days editing the segment of driving down the road, I now feel validated for it, lol.
Nice to see you off the boat and back into the countryside again, I don't think you've made a video like this since the Caribbean. Amazing, thanks for the tour!
Thank you Mike! We love traveling on the boat, but sometimes it's so nice to travel further inland and see what the countries we visit have to offer as a whole. 😍
7:17 stunning scenery, Waterslide music excellent. This is such a good all round video you should send it to the Norwegian Tourist Board or whatever they are called to advertise their country.
"The backgrounds are just GORGE-ous." :-) What a great experience you guys are having. Living the dream. Love Norway, but you guys are opening up more parts of it I'll have to go back to see someday!
Wow! Beautiful place. I definitely want to go there and experience it. "Honey! (calling my wife) I think I have a place for us to go to next Summer." 😉
Seems like you made an impression on your norwegian friend Jessica! since that beer was special for you :) "friaren" translates to "he who proposes" Like in to marry you :) haha. Happy sailing and fair winds from Stord, Norway
Just a thought carrying on from Matt's comment: You are sailing pretty constantly and focused on the weather with respect to how it affects where you want to go. Do you spend any time thinking about spending extended time in any one spot and experiencing the weather changes as it goes through a yearly cycle or two? (Or, are you caught up in being a rolling stone and having glances at those places you pass through?)
We were visa limited to only 3 months in Norway, so we had to get there, see as much as possible, and then leave before the fall weather trapped us illegally in the country. Otherwise we might have stayed for the year. Visas- more than weather- dictate where we go and for how long. But we are enjoying the seasonal change currently in Scotland... they'll have us for 6 months at a time:) Matt
and i thought the italian alps were nice , that spots a real beauty with the waterfall, the road thats almost identical to the stevlio pass, the destination is well worth the journey
Another incredible episode you guys, stunningly beautiful. I am curious where are you plan to winter, or are you just going to keep going in your ice proof boatAnd give us the grand tour of the Arctic Circle? Cheers and thanks again
We're currently on the West coast of Scotland and working our way towards Plymouth in Southern UK for winter. The temps are already down to the range of what we expect for the January and February (it snowed last night), and while we are exploring off the boat less, we are functioning fine. It's still "liveable" . -Matt
Check out the "Tail Of The Dragon" at Deals Gap located on the NC/Tennessee border. 318 curves in 11 miles, and I'm talking switchbacks for a majority of them. I video taped riding it both ways on my Gold Wing years ago and still am mesmerized every time I watch it. Probably some CZcams videos of it also.
I thought you guys were from Grand Rapids? You sailed through the Great Glen and missed the water that falls. Norway Fjords next? That will make you gawp.
It is interesting to see "home" explored and shared by your fresh eyes (I discovered your channel recently during the crossing from Færøyene) Now I am curious - do you guys have a video that explains what made you have sailing Norway on a wish-list for 5 years? Does it have a back-story or was it motivated just by "why not?" (I think it is a wonderful idea - not just from being Norwegian - but also from the POV that in addition to cat-videos, youtube is filled up with couples sailing around in the tropics. A change of scenery is nice - even though I know this scenery well. It is kind of a rediscovery - to let you show it and remind me that yes - it is rather pretty/interesting/peculiar).
Glad that we could add a little stress relief to your day. 😃

Thanks Dave!! We hope you like next week's...we get to the Arctic Circle!!
You're right about that view, Matt!
Wow, I never knew how beautiful Norway really is!!!! Amazing ! 🇦🇺🇳🇿
Great video Matt and Jess I was there on that Zig Zag in 2005 what a great trip we were on Hurtigruten Midnatsol greatest voyage in the world from Bergen to Kirkenes Check out Norcap the most northerly point of Europe. Thanks for the videos
Awesome views of beautiful landscape treasures in Norway. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
You should edit your Norway videos into one and present it to the Norway travel bureau.
That's an excellent idea!

Very likely the most beautiful road in the world. Thanks for sharing.
Aye m8's! I'm so happy to see how you both enjoy this part of the world.

Those were some f-ing awesome views they were!
Wow, wow, wow how clear is the water, how beautiful the scenery, so stunning, thank you for taking the time to edit and share
The first word that came to mind = Magnificent!
You get off of the boat and go on an adventure you are like two kids in a candy store especially Matt. Have fun stay safe.
I think as a Norwegian, you start to take things for granted.
Maybe next summer I take some American tourists with me on a hike😊
Fair winds,,,/),,,,
Just be prepared to stop every three minutes while they take in the sites and about 1,000 photos, haha. 😂
Haha🤣
Really really enjoyed this video you guys!! Amazing editing Jessica!! One of the best you have put out in my opinion!! Love how you mixed the drone shots in with the drive...AMAZING> You guys are SO lucky to be there!!
Thank you so much!! I spent 2 days editing the drive down the road, so I'm glad some of the work is showing through, lol.
Speechless!!!!!
Magnificent natural beauty, stunning, enjoy the fruits of all your hard work and planning. Fair winds and safe sailing
Thanks for taking us along... you continue to outdo yourselves with the videos!!
Come ON ! wow. and you two are glowing with negative ions . luv

I'd highly recommend one of the small cruise ships. They quickly get you to all the highlights in comfort. -Matt
matt johnson thanks Matt. Again, I was very impressed.
This might just be the best piece you’ve produced. Well done.
Thank you so much!! It's nice to know the production is appreciated and having spent 2 days editing the segment of driving down the road, I now feel validated for it, lol.
@@MJSailing camera angles, music, spacing of silences- you told the story. You've become worldly- almost European...
Great film work. Makes me want to travel there
That road would have been great to bike on! I'll have to remember it when i visit it with my boat one day!
We watched another video on CZcams where someone had biked down it. Looks like you can get some real speed!
You guys are super cute! Great video. I liked the part where Matt got onto you for “swearing.” Haha! Beautiful scenery!!
Absolutely amazing! Thank you!!
7:17 stunning scenery, Waterslide music excellent. This is such a good all round video you should send it to the Norwegian Tourist Board or whatever they are called to advertise their country.
I guess I am kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
@Vincent Ari flixportal
@Cody Lorenzo Thanks, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it !!

Nice road for motor bike riding
Imagine having to walk that squiggly road up and down. LOL
🙋🏼♂️ Been there
Beautiful, thanks for sharing
I thought you guys were from Grand Rapids? You sailed through the Great Glen and missed the water that falls.
Norway Fjords next? That will make you gawp.

Lucky you!! It's a beautiful town!!
Great video. Thank You.
