Should I upgrade coming from the iPhone 12 mini?
My iphone 15 pro 256gb in titanium blue has been great so far! Only had it for about 30 hours. Took it off charge at around 7 this morning, now it's 10 at night. Screen on for 5 hours, 55% battery left! Love the light weight and material, coming from the chunky 13 pro max 128gb sierra blue.

@@bahaayoussef7 Battery life is great for me. I do not regret switching from my 13 pro max to the 15 pro. It looks stunning, feels great in the hand and I think the bluetooth audio has gotten better as well! Go for it

great review Nick, i recently purchased this, i agree with you with the battery. I was a pro max user for the past years, until apple ruined my 13 pro max with the white screen after the update, i got this. I honestly feel that 13 pro max had the best battery life out of all the series after 12 pro max. I dont like 60 hertz display thats why i didnt get the 15 plus. Plus, here in Bangladesh, an iphone 15 pro base model costs about $1500 and for white titanium and natural titanium it costs extra. And the pro max costs like $2000. i honestly think a phone worth $2000 is absolute bonkers to use in this economy.
That's exactly my same concern. Back when the S10 series was released, I chose the regular S10 since only the screen size, battery, and front sensor is the difference between it and the S10+. Then the S20 and onwards were released which gives the Ultra variants lots of features as compared to Plus ones. That's why I chose the S23 Ultra because it has a lot of advantages over the S23+.

I got my blue titanium 15 pro yesterday and it’s the first time I’ve ever used 120hz refresh rate and I’m blown away at how smooth and premium it feels! And the cameras👌🏻absolutely loving this device.
Definitely a nice phone...like the design and build....and yess its not heavy like previous iphones models...seems light...Definitely if i had money I'll buy it....nice review by the way

as some who likes smaller phones, i kinda hate that they didnt include the 5x zoom to the iphone 15 pro. i saw the disassembly videos, the camera module inside the max is almost the same size, i doubt that it wont fit, i just dont buy the "it wont fit the body" alibi
I think the 5x zoom module was a bit large for the smaller size of the smaller 15 pro. That could be BS, but there are some physical space restrictions between the models.
Finally upgrading to the 15 Pro from the XR for 5 years! Excited

“… rinse, repeat …” this is exactly right, although I must say the most important upgrade item is the USB-C port. All the other stuff just doesn’t impress me.
For me 9,5/10 battery is back on 17.2🔥

7:50 I don't know what you mean by that "computer level ram" but the ram on the 15 pros is LPDDR5 wich is slower than than many androids that use LPDDR5X like the s23 series
and I think that's the reason it still launches apps at little slower speeds and loads online content a little slower too , as far as I've seen from your own speed tests
I mean the iPhone now has 8GB and Base level Mac’s have 8GB of ram. While they’re are differences the point is that it is good for longer term than 6GB of ram phones.

I love my 15 pro max, upgraded from 13 pro, and funny thing is my 13 pro on iOS 15 got 10-12 hours, my 15 pro max actually gets less than that, only getting 10 hours on iOS 17, so iOS 16 and 17 have messed up the battery badly
Ios 15 was overall the best in terms of battery,my 13PM at the time just didn’t seem to consume any power. I would get 2 days out of it without breaking a sweat
it depends on what you’re doing, i’m a moderate user and i easily get a full day’s worth of battery, so about 14 hrs or more on my 15 pro max, and even with that i still have about 15-25% at the end of the day
@@bringbackthedarkness I was a heavy user and ending my 13 pro at around 40- 50 percent. My 15 pro max is nearly dead. It’s embarrassing for a phone with a 1k mah smaller battery to trash a 15 pro max, especially one from 2 years ago
@@RyansTechReviews29 well internally speaking, the 15 pro max is doing more than the 13 pro, especially with the new chip. Even if it may have less battery life in your experience, for me, i’ve found it to be pretty efficient for all that it’s doing
@@bringbackthedarkness on iOS 17 the 13 pro is now worse than my 15 pro max, but if you’ve ever used a 13 pro or pro max on iOS 15, it was the king in battery life, iOS 15 doesn’t drain much battery as iOS 16 or 17
I use an Android OnePlus for my personal use and an iPhone 15 Pro Max for work. Both operating systems are pretty awesome for smartphones. You know, everyone who's into Android secretly wishes iOS could be more like Android, but iOS is iOS. That's what makes it unique, and Apple stands out for it.
One thing I absolutely love about iOS and Apple, in general, are the little things that often go unnoticed. For example, I can seamlessly take my work calls on my iPhone, Mac, or iPad. And during a call, I can switch from my iPhone to my Mac or iPad, depending on what I am doing. It's all up to me. Plus, there are other small conveniences, like reading an article or checking out a social media post on my iPhone and then effortlessly picking up where I left off on my Mac or iPad when I get to my work desk.
These little touches are the ones I didn't fully appreciate about iOS and Apple before, but now I'm starting to see why so many people love them. Of course, there are still some things about iOS that bug me, but I guess if iOS did everything Android does, there wouldn't be much competition or room for innovation, right?
Well, your battery life is much better than the 4 1/2 hours of onscreen time My other favourite tech reviewer got out of his.

Too expensive, Nick bro. I switched from Apple to Android. Got out of the ecosystem finally. The Motorola Razr 2023 only cost me like $350 plus iPhone 11 trade-in. Very fast and responsive. Faster than iOS IMHO. And yes, iPhone release after iPhone release is just more of the same. I enjoy the split-screen ability for multi-tasking, too.
But if video and photos are really important to you, iPhone is still the way to go.

I think it’s a great time to buy the iPhone 14 model. Just because it’s a little cheaper now and also widely available. I think that what the 15 offers is still not enough to justify it’s price unless you are coming from a older iPhone and want what is new. But don’t forget the 14 still a great piece of tech. (Pro and pro max models)

The 14 vanilla (non pro) Is the same as the 13 vanilla, the only difference Is that the 14 can do 4k cinematic and probably has 1 more year of software updates.

I have had my 14 pro max for about 6 months now. To be completely honest it was really a great purchase. I really hope the 16 or 17 will have a significant change, either in the camera or performance. The design can stay the same because it is really nice and suits the brand.

@@jesmond5562 I get about 17 hours of battery life on a single charge. This battery life reminds me of the 14 plus I had. And yes, I did have the 14 pro max but downgraded to the plus due to the battery life but I can honestly say the battery life on this 15 pro is very good.
