Okay so I hate that I have to make disclaimers/remarks constantly to validate my videos here. This is why I can’t stand CZcams lately and why most creators don’t answer comments anymore.
As I stated early on in this video. I’m not the most talented artist on the block. My videos are for everyone: including beginners. This video was legit my first time using the palette. I didn’t feel super inspired by it so I didn’t go ALL OUT for my look. You truly can’t please everyone as a creator. Someone’s going to want more from your look and someone’s going to want less. I just don’t care anymore. I’m not asking for criticism when I’m just happy doing my thing.. if you don’t vibe with me there are so many other people you can watch and get artistic ideas from.. Kendall Alfred Thank you for your review. I think Norvina knows the palette isn’t for everyone, it’s for the people who love color, who are more artistic maybe people who are bored by the usual ABH palettes. And just because the pallet isn’t for everyone doesn’t mean it’s a failure.

Progress with me I love what I do I just can’t deal with miserable people always looking for something to argue with 😩 it’s so mentally draining. This used to be so fun and I just hate seeing the community crumble like it is.
I saw someone rearrange the Jeffree Star Jawbreaker palette by the rainbow colors and it made so much more sense to her and I had to agree. Do you think rearranging this palette would help it be more conducive to ideas? I am as confused as you are. Your eye look turned out to be very pretty and I really appreciate the effort you put into your channel. You are very transparent in your experiences and it helps us to remember that Instagram is not reality.👍🏼😍

I agree with you. There are too many purples & oranges. With no transition colors there’s not much someone like me can do. I’m more into simple eye looks like you. Not my favorite colors for the price.
Yessssss. I have been having trouble coming up with looks for this one. I find myself dipping back into the original norvina palette. It was so much better.

I absolutely agree with you, the palette is absolutely gorgeous and the shades, individually, are stunning. BUT, as a beginner, if I was to purchase this palette, or receive it, I would sit there and wonder what in the world I'm supposed to do with it. I definitely think this one is more fore advanced/trained makeup artists, people with much higher skills than me. Doesn't mean I hate the palette, doesn't mean I'll never buy it, just... Not today, not until my skills and creativity open up more...
This palette hurts my eyes. It looks like a jacked up Rubik's cube to me. I watched to support you and see what you would make of these colors, and your look came out beautiful. 💕💕💕

I feel like this launch would have been better in the beginning of summer with all those brights and the lip set and I feel like it did not give Jackie's palette enough time to truly shine on its own! I am obsessed with that palette perfect for transitioning into fall! Your look is gorgeous btw!
I agree that this is a pretty palette but it’s also not for me. The quality looks great though, but these bold colors won’t fly for looks at my office lol

The deal is there so many transitional palettes there so many transitional shades and not a lot of power colors. So I would get this just to use the bright purple the in-your-face mustard ETC because I have a million transitional Shades in other pallets that I could use.

I really loved you’re honesty and the fact that you get to the point. Most CZcamsrs have me skipping half the video to get to where they’re actually talking about the product. I’ve been looking into this palette but I’m not sure if I can put the looks and colors together. I’m not typically a bright color person but it’s really pretty. Your eye look has me thinking I may be able to work with it.

Your simple eye look is much nicer than most people s "creative" looks. Newsflash people throwing a thousand colours on your eye doesn't make you creative and doesn't look good.

I love Norvina, and I love purples but something just stopped me from going through with purchasing this palette. When I think "Pro" palette, I would think of something that a makeup artist could have in their kit without needing much of anything else because everything is there. I feel like this is something I would purchase and not use because its overwhelming and confusing to me.

I agree with you, this palette is not something I would go and buy unless I’m more “artistic”. Is not something I would wear on a regular basis and I think I already own enough colorful palettes. Nonetheless those SWATCHES! 😍 They are BEAUTIFUL! It’s so pretty and pigmented I’m sure people who love playing with color will die for the palette. 😃☺️

I was waiting on your video!! Lol I've had mine for a few days and haven't touched it.. Although I really am dying to dig in im just not great at pigments!! I have no idea what colors to use together & with pigments you need to go slow & pack then blend I think so with all that I haven't had time yet to play with it but I'm excited to its a beautiful palette! I think the reason for this color story choice is so when her vol.2 comes out of will be needed for this one to work better & make more sense so possibly a business move maybe? Idk it's still a gorgeous nicely done palette! I'm glad I got it on the last day of the sephora sale though!! Lol 💜😘

As someone that has a hard time not buying new releases, I felt so much fomo not buying it on the last day of the VIB sale, but I don’t regret it now. It is pretty, but I can’t say I don’t have a lot of these shades. Your eye look turned out beautifully though!! 😍
I think a lot of people are not understanding what this Palette was meant for. Norvina spends a LOT of time on twitter talking to makeup artists who are VERY creative and there are a LOT of us..and one of the things we have been asking for from ABH for a long time was a creative COLORFUL palette that we could use to create our artistic looks. ABH palettes always lean neutral and it is hard for creative artists to use them as far as color stories. Norvina made this specifically for creative artists in mind. She knew this palette wouldn't be for everyone and that's totally ok! I personally am LIVING for this palette!! To each his own ❤

@@supreme_aset777 exactly!! Tbh I have neutral singles but have gotten rid of every neutral palette I had because I just wasnt using them, with the exception of the huda nudes Palette. I do bright bold looks and imo norvina nailed this palette!
Traci Zeiders omg lol same! The only “nude” palettes I own are ABH modern renaissance and Huda’s new nude. If I have any other nude palettes left in my collection, they’re for sure about to get de cluttered very soon.
@@supreme_aset777 I even got rid of modern ren. As lovely as it was I just didnt use it so figured someone else would lol. I passed on the Jackie aina for the same reason and I have so many singles just like it. There is a massive market for palettes like the norvina, and JSC jawbreaker..if there wasnt all these brands wouldnt be making them.

I love the bottom three rows but with the all of the purples and pinks it looks/feels overwhelming! The formula looks amazing I’ve never tried any ABH shadows though!
I’m really surprised that there’s not a single green shade in this palette, I think it’s beautiful but I would have switched out some of the colors that seem so similar that they’re almost repeats with a beige and a green. That’s just my opinion, maybe that’s why this is volume 1, she might have a few more ideas up her sleeve. I think I’ll pass on this palette and see what else she has in store for us 😊 Beautiful look by the way!! I’m almost convinced to buy based on your swatches and eye look 😍

i feel like norvina threw this pallet out to fast after the Jackie pallet and it honestly needed more time i hate the two bottom rows. Also why the bright orange lippies

C3 is my favourite colour in this palette too, got mine yesterday. My fingers itch towards E1 as well but I haven't used that one yet my first attempt was fairly similar to yours just not as close to the brow (my eye shape can't pull that off) and I used A1 on the inner third of the lid with C3 in the centre. It does seem to have 3 different colour stories in it ... row D doesn't do much for me the rest I like
I trust your reviews the most. Your talent is different than the "wham bam let me paint some picasso on my lid" types of influencers. You are approachable and your content is amazing(and helpful!) for the more casual make up user. Your reviews are solid and your looks are flattering and doable. Also I like the fact that you are not loud and all over the place (not that there is anything wrong with that) 😂 Sometimes I just like to chill and play Hayday while you talk 😆

Compared to the Kylie purple palette (saw the video before this) seems like this blends beautifully. Love the coral lippies but her liquid lip formula is not my fave. I live for orange lippies

I been looking for a Pallette with purples so I can get rid of some drugstore pallettes that I been holding on to for just one purple shadow in it and it's not the best pigmentation, if I get this palette I would still use other pallettes that I already own, since I do mostly do the lid with the pop of color.

There will always be those who feel the need to tell you what you’re doing wrong or what you need to do to be better or criticize everything BUT... who gives a million damns? You are doing an awesome job and i respect your honest review. You aren’t out here sucking a huge brands big toe to stay on the PR list or get credit. this palette does not inspire me one little bit and I am a massive color addict! I mean, for real, give me everything bright and colorful and I usually become instantly inspired but this palette just does not do it for me. Maybe it’s the color layout 🤷🏻♀️ idk, but I just don’t like it. Keep doing you and don’t ever let the opinions of others change who you are or how you feel. I think this is for people that like eye looks like the ones that Norvina is known for. She is known for far out brightly colored looks.
