- Our oldest dog loves the outdoors and we can't get him to come in. He whines and argues with us. Won't come in even at -40 C.

Sweet boy is in his element. He's not cold, he's comfy.
It sickens me when humans don’t understand an Animals natural habitat.
My late girl would only come in if it was freezing rain or very cold with no snow to curl up in. With a thick double coat made for winter that is their natural habitat. Forcing them to come indoors in the winter confuses their body into shedding all year round and makes things worse for them.
Was minus 40C that day so was really cold and just him to come in for a bit to warm up. But he loves to be outside.
@loqo esto 🤫
Lady Justice, I had the exact thought.
He said what he said , and to be honest he had some very valid points.
😂😂😂😂
Our husky used to fall asleep in the snow. He was black and white, but when covered in snow, you could only see his nose. He would have stayed outside all winter if he could, and inside in the A/C all summer. He was such a good boy... lived to 15 1/2 and we miss him so much!
"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together."

thank you for be so good for him.

It sounds like you gave him an amazing life.
I love the fact that Huskies argue with their owners. They actually answer you like it is normal for dogs to have discussions about things. It is so cute, shows highly developed intelligence 😍
I had a German Shepherd that was the same way. He was a talker!!! He would sleep outside in the snow, rather than come in the house. I miss him everyday.
Our mutt is a talker. If she gets scolded by one family member for getting in the trash (or some other cute transgression), she will immediately find another family member to tell her side of the story to. :)
He's singing the song of his people. His thinking I can have a treat anytime, I can't have snow all the time. Loving the snow and cold. Me too!
And such a nice singing voice he has!
@@crucisnh Isn't it lovely? I could listen all day long. Lol
Your first line is so beautiful. He IS singing his story. 💙 But snow? Nah... 🤣😂
Me too.
Love the cold, snow, 4 seasons. Something we don’t really get here in Southern California 😤. Just got and cool (which surprisingly is 8 months of the year). Terribly hot June- Mid September, wonderful the rest of the year.
Still no snow. Can get chilly. Never cold (33F or below) 😝❤️
Miss the rain, snow, cold.
Ahhhhh New England weathethaa (😝)
Haha, when it comes to cold I've got the cold tolerance of a Belgian Malinois or Chihuahua
I think he stated his case very well. 😁
He said noooooo
Agreed😄
Most eloquently.
😂🤣😂
Loved that when treat was mention, he considered it for a second 😂
We had a husky growing up. Even when it was "cold", we just left him outside. He would tell us when he wanted to come in. Probably two on the morning or something he would start talking or paw at the door and my Dad would let him in and they'd sleep together the rest of the night. Very cool dog. He'd pull us on sleds all day. No tire in that dog.
Ah, that's so cute, must have been a joy to have him in the family
Aww thank you for that story it warms my heart, I do miss our dog kodiak.
Meanwhile Husky saying - How could you say this to me, I'm made for snow and snow is for me.
Huskies absolutely love the snow. They are in their natural environment. I wish I could hear him talking right now😊
I bet his neighbours don't.

That's good. To clarify, I don't mind barking or howling dogs as neighbours. It is hearing neighbours' music I detest and, more specifically, any type of African American noise pollution such as rap, hip-hop etc

I've had this argument with my husky many times! Then in the summer, I open the door to let him out and he sniffs the hot air and looks at me like I'm nuts then goes back to the sofa!😂
Bingo! This woman is stressing her pet with pressurized calling to come indoors...he's loving the snow and does not want to be anywhere else!!
@@sudhakhristmukti1930 I've had many dogs, but this is my first husky. I was warned😆! I have to say that I don't think she's stressing out the dog. I've learned there are certain times huskies just don't care about your opinion, and will happily tell you so! Bribes do work...usually!😂
Lol.
My kids and I are polar bears and enjoy the freezing cold but now at my age the hot sun feels great on my muscles & bones but I still enjoy the cold.
@@penz6860 At 63, I've turned into a wuss! Cold makes my bones ache, and hot just makes me sweat! 70 degrees is heaven!😂
@@carolking1502 I'm in triple digit monsoon weather & this is the only time I do sweat easily. Remember to stay hydrated, our bones & joints need the hydration & purposely take deep breaths of air in thru your nose & out your mouth & Visa versa. If our bodies were cars the water & deep breaths would be our fuel & oil. I put out a pitcher of crystal light with a dish cloth on top & make sure I drink that through out the day to evening because I still have my milk, my coffee. I'll be 63 in less than a month & just had a tele-med with my dr. And he asked what I'm doing because my numbers have been steadily coming down to where now I'm technically not diabetic, I told him I guess I'm kinda keto although I will have a toast (on the burnt side) or pancake twice a week because carbs are so so filling, l love soups, stews, fruits, vegetables, salads, lots of nuts, lots of fish, especially sushi with raw tuna or raw salmon, once a month maybe twice I'll have a steak & baked potato. At this time of my life ever since I turned 50 it's the quality of life that makes a big difference in enjoying life. Good Thoughts & Best Wishes to you.
Some people think dogs should be like humans. This is his element. He can breathe. He was built for the snow.
I know
He’s singing the song of his ppl. Let him be. 🙂
I love how each end "no" sound is longer than the previous one!!🥰 He's so precious!!!🐕
00:34 his words hits hard, specially when he said woooohh woooooooo, I felt it
He is perfectly fine, he is made for this weather and *TONKA* is enjoying himself...
Such a smart breed and canine as this deserves a much more intelligent human owner! This woman's a dipshit
He's saying "Of course it's cold, my dear human. I've been waiting all year for it to snow so I could FINALLY be comfortable wearing this built-in fur coat that Mother Nature gave me to be able to withstand temperatures 50゚ BELOW ZERO F..."
When I lived in Lake Tahoe we had a husky that did the same thing when it snowed. She hated being indoors at night, so we let her out. She would curl into a ball, lie in a snowbank, and fall sleep. Our neighbors were all over our case for "abusing" our dog. So the next night I banged on their door and told them to come watch while I tried to get the dog to come inside. She didn't budge. Then I invited them in, brought the dog in so they could listen to her howl until I let her out. Finally they got it and stopped nagging us.
LMAO! 🤣 I love that story!
We had a husky in alaska, they are bred to stay outside in the winter 24 hours a day.
Loved it. He's comfortable. He likes it more than a snack, at the moment. Leave him and he'll come in when he's ready, after he's had a good time in his natural habitat.
I agree with the dog. What idiot would want to go inside when there is fluffy snow to bed down in. My dogs preferred sleeping in the snow instead of their warm insulated dog houses with straw.
The owner is like a typical liberal: they're not content just to leave you alone.
@@gaylespencer6188 illiberal you mean... perverts always pervert definitions of words first
@Gayle Spencer you’re a typical smooth brained Karen. Go find a man to make a sandwich for.
@@gaylespencer6188 Is that why conservatives are the ones trying to dictate what people can and cannot do with their own bodies?
I see people with Huskies here in Florida and I think it's cruel. They are warm in freezing snow so imagine how miserable they must be in Florida heat.
It should be illegal to have those breed in that state
Same here in Australia, even in places where it snows such as Tasmania, we still get hot summers. They're not a common breed here, but I still feel bad when I see them
Believe it or not huskies can actually do perfectly fine in places like Florida because of their fur coats. They help them stay warm in the cold and cool in the hot.
As long as they are taken care of properly, the temperature is not a major problem. They be thriving wherever they live tbh. I have two huskies who would rather be outside in the heat rather inside where it's chilly
Same here in Australia.
Can you imagine how hot the dog is in the house with heat on. He is finally comfortable.
Best time of the year for a Husky .
'You've got to come inside now it's cold' - No _you're_ cold. Huskies can sleep on ice
Sled dogs can overheat pulling sled in well below zero temps they can easily handle -40 degree temps
he is feeling the call of the wild🤣
I'd cry too if I had that much fur and built for snow.
Sitting in the snow for a husky is like us sitting on the beach! Let him be in his element! 🤓
I thought she had him with the ( treat ) word, but no. This so freaking cute.
The woman was getting annoying. Maybe you can marry her.
This is me every day trying to get our husky Stella by Starlight back in the house in so. cal.....and it's 100 degrees outside she wants a sunbath until her nose runs!
Snow… treat? Snow wins
Leave him alone for God sake !
Lol. "Want a treat?" *Husky gives pause for thought* ... Resolves to stand firm in decision to remain outside. Love huskies!
Ha, I like how he stops and thinks about if he would rather have a treat instead of stay outside. Hope you let him stay outside a bit. He was just sitting there relaxing.
Husky fur insulation and metabolism are such that what's cold to us is just right to them. They were bred for snow!
0:29 "to warm up" doesn't seem to be a valid argument at all. That's what he wants to avoid.
Huskies are very vocal, very expressive,, such beautiful creatures!!!
I love hearing dogs howling. It's an ancient noise what wakes our brains 👍.
The neighbors must love Tonkas serenades.lol
im so glad my neighbours dont have huskies only some small dogs
My thoughts exactly. 😁
I would love for him to be my neighbor. We would be great friends.
@@TommyRibs Was thinking the same thing. That howl sends my soul soaring. Busy traffic noise? FTS!!! LOL.
@@TommyRibs : So would I. He’s just enjoying himself.
I can tell she loves him but I don't understand her reasoning. This breed is literally designed to NEVER be inside during cold weather. They don't need to go indoors to warm up. He's telling her that and she's not listening.
Agreed 👍🏾
She doesn't feel like standing outside to watch him
I've seen other similar videos made simply to prove a point (that Huskies are fine outside when it's cold), so that people stop calling it in when they see them left outside in the snow. Perhaps that's what she's doing.
Another case in point….. animals are so much more intelligent and in tune to nature than any arrogant human.
The point of the video is to show a husky throwing a tantrum, because that's what they do, and it's never not hilarious. I'm guessing she lets him spend a lot of time outside.
My sister was in the Navy. She got deployed and ask that I keep her dog. He was a beautiful husky. I had a old fridge in my garage just for drinks while I was in the garage. The dang dog every time I opened the door he would jump in there and lay down. I took the door off and let him have it. I would tinker in the garage and he would lay in his fridge. When my sister came home and took him home I loaded the fridge up and took it to her house. She wasn't the hang out in the garage type so I put it right in the living room. That crazy lovable dog passed away thirteen years later right there in his sleep in his refrigerator. Love you biggy biggy Lobo till we meet again my friend.
I watch this video every day. I love it.
He loves being out in the snow …
He’ll come ,when HES ready !!!
We love warm , they love cold !
Lol but he's warm with that coat on.
The two times it actually snowed in Texas my mutt husky always wanted to be outside. And I let her!
Yes it’s cold for us humans but they have layers. They are fine, eventually she came back in and knocked out from running around and being a pup. 😊
Maybe you shouldn't have a dog bred for the cold in such a hot environment.
@@GamerNerdess maybe. Or maybe she could of stayed in the street where I found her.
Thanks for your feed back miss.
My baby is a happy pup, well taken care of. I do understand that having this half breed husky in the heat is not good, which is why my house is super cold all the time and when we do have outside time it’s early in the morning or later when the sun isn’t so harsh. Also she has a pool to enjoy. 😊
@@GamerNerdess maybe you should understand their coat keeps them warm when needed, but also has the opposite effect to stay cool as well.
@@GamerNerdess maybe u did do dinner research on Huskies because you're mistaking them for Malamutes... I know they look the same but they aren't the same dog husky dogs are adaptable and can live in hotter climates... Again research before you speak on stuff you know nothing about
@@kolbymartin9743 um no, a husky's coat does NOT help them stay cool as well.

Like a little kid not wanting to go inside, or leave the park... Such emotion in his plea to stay outside. I loved it...
Why do we need to project human feelings and needs onto a dog? He’s made for the snow and totally at peace and comfort with it.
Let him stay there and come in when he’s good and mentally ready to deal with being overheated to spend time with you all!
My Akita loved being outside in the cold weather! A double coat is all they NEED!

Ces chiens husky comme les loups, ont leurs rituels de communion avec la nature que les humains ne peuvent pas comprendre. Parfois. Je ne suis pas sûre que le maître ait compris cela ici.
