From the first time we get to meet Castiel on season 5 this story was written. As other episodes explain how mary and john got together so i feel so did Dean and Castiel as God (chuck) could see what was happening so he sent an angel to watch over Dean, a soldier sent to protect. I think Castiel knew about his fate and fell in love with Dean because of his caring nature,from when he came through though those doors you can see in both there eyes. Dean branded by castiel so he can find at anytime from that day on there lives were set, one angry mess up person to a calm and pour loving angel. The longer Castiel stayed the longer he would see how corrupt the planet was and that meant himself to, being an angel he see only good and so innocent who loves his father and obeys without question, Dean the opposite has abandonment issues with father but does question his father orders, bring up younger brother without question of his own feelings or needs, he a battered soul with a heavy heart of responsibility not just to his father but to his late mother too who died by yellow eyed Demon. Dean has no one to look out for him, for when his feelings are hurt, he help him understand the heavy burden that weighs so much on his shoulders.Dean becomes, father, mother, brother, teacher most of all protector for Sam He has girlfriends but not a real girlfriend in his life, as there a distraction, he never allows to get to heavily attached, as he did with Lisa and ben because of the danger of any thing can kidnap or getting to them through him. Castiel is a soldier he can protect himself he’s strong and becomes reliable for Dean, plus he understands the father issues when he start to question his father orders not because there not hard to do but knowing that trails sometimes don’t make sense. So season, by season Castiel is subjected to mental and emotional stresses of being a good Angel and there are nasty forces things out there that can hurt you. And making him do things as he doesn’t know what right or wrong as he never questions an order until the angel on the same side manipulates him knowing his innocence namely Dean Winchester who he loves has done before he was born as its was his training his mission by god himself to keep him safe at all cost. Problem being he never thought he would fall in love with him, he never hides it, everyone can see it people tell him again and again but Dean has never loved anyone except his father, mother and brother. But he begins to develop feelings for Castiel you see it now and again the way certain shard comments. All the way through the whole series he talks constantly and about Castiel after seeing the show number of times you pick up on curtain things. I can remember when Dean goes into the church and confesses he love someone. It’s complicated it different from anything he’s felt before even for the first time. He was like he was asking for his approval. He seems happier when he comes out. I love this show its not afraid of doing anything different there different creatures things to fight its full of Drama the characters don’t have to wear a costume to be heroes just the clothes on there back and an amazing Car even has a haunted feel to it with the rumble. But i find Dean and Castiel the most interesting how they come together the unshakable bond they have for each other, both to scared to say how they feel incase it’s taken away but every episode you can see it growing wether it was meant or not it there wether intended or not, that why a lot of people love it, Dean will deny it so will the producers but its there, the look, stares sitting talking it was bound to happen. I loved these characters there ending were not up to the ending on other episodes of the series maybe because of covid i don’t know but Castiel speech was amazingly done Misha collins a beautiful love story ending. Who declares his love to Deans face wow not a dry eye I thought my heart was going to explode with the build up of love shown Dean still never says it back, poor Castiel didn’t deserve that lame non responsive reply. To died for the one you love is such a great honour a hero pour no thrill true love and not one word. I would be pissed poor Castiel he deserves more. Sam final minutes with dean was amazing not a dry tear again better ending. Then to all to meet up with bobby to be told that Castiel had a hand in it makes Dean smile. But where is he no castiel i think this ending disrespect Castiel he deserves more better ending he was a soldier of heaven sent to earth to not just to save mankind but one important man who he fell in love with because there no greater power on this planet a force that can break the hardiest of heart, brake evil and there no price its free your born with it, you die with it, if you stay long enough with someone it’s bound to rub off on you that’s what life about trying to find that one special person you caring about so much you would die for them is a beautiful gift The Dean and Castiel love story i love it ❤
