The main thing I got from Lewis is he would be very impressed by playing as a freshman instead of sitting to learn. At Colorado he will play as Shedeur’s successor and that needs to be emphasized in his recruiting (along with the 💰💰💰)! Another point of emphasis on recruiting him is HE CAN ELEVATE THE PROFILE OF THE BIG 12 BY COMING TO COLORADO instead of joining a Big10 program.
It’s more common that you’d expect. The #1 recruit last year was committed to Ohio State but he visited tons of other schools before signing day. If you’re a recruit then visiting other schools is both fun and in your best interest
@@user-vl1xx7sp7k imagine being 16 or 18 and your going on these visits where they are partying with you letting you meet girls and basically treating you like a rockstar of course these kids are going to go to as many visits as possible.
If he goes to USC, Colorado is doing the right thing because he look at them in high regard when he hits the transfer portal after his red shirt freshman year
It's a once in a lifetime deal for these kids to go on free trips, experience different cultures and get pampered, some of these kids have never been outside of their own state.
It sounds like Colorado should have a backup plan. He doesn't even know what league they play in. The league he plays in won't influence his draft chances. Of the ten QBs selected last year, only 4 were from SEC/B10. You could argue that he'll have more flexibility in a weaker conference to show what he can do.
I'm still Uneducated about Julian Lewis, is he really a day one starter at USC or CU?... My Eyes is on Converting Kyron Drones to Transfer Next Season if he don't Declare for the Draft

@rg50InFaMouc Cleary you don't know ball they will not be good. History says they won't be good starting a true freshman.... Go look at all the true freshmen QB stats from the last 5 years. You won't be excited.
Really, I think we’ve reached a point in college athletics where because of the transfer portal, even signing a national LOI is really only a 1 year obligation. So, what is a “commitment” really worth anyway? If I’m a recruit, I’d name my top choices and leave it at that until I’m ready to sign. The other schools on my list will know that if I didn’t choose them during recruitment, I can always transfer after one year. It’s getting to a point where schools will not stop recruiting a player, either overly or covertly, even after that player is enrolled at another school.
Who knows what this kid and his family ultimately decide. What we know is that as much as he says he's committed to USC, if it was set in stone, he wouldn't still be taking visits. Until he starts turning down convos with schools other than USC, there's still hope for CU.
See ill talk on the second point first. If you listen, he didn't even quite know where CU was going to be playing and eventhough his father has a relationship, the Big10/SEC have not been the muscle of college football for quite a bit. And the BIG12 has this position to be like the Pac12 last year which was a great conference and had the best QB competition in college football with all they had but even if he doesn't think that is going to come to fruition or be a conference that can compete not just with the others in the CFP but take quite a few of the top spots if it unfolds like many think and there's a surprise by CU which most of us think will happen. Also, in a recent video on Well Off it was said by Prime that as they were leaving the new lounge area for special guests during games, he was asked how the next coach is going to feel in a year or two having all this nice stuff and Prime almost immediately interjected with "I still got 10 in me. Yeah...I got at least another 10 in me..." insinuating that his plans are to remain in Colorado for around 10 years as you can't just pack up a Lounge. Lol. But the main thing that stood out to me that relates more to part A or 1. He said that his dad has a relationship and that's fine and stuff but to him that last comment said a ton snd he still might not come to CU but he said "(his) relationship with Shedeur was big & it meant a lot to him. So I can see that along with him mentioning the hype is at a high and it's as close to sign and you start day one as a freshman as you get unless you just fumble the bag ya know? He's with a full NFL coaching staff and coordinator that is going to work with him as he progresses into what the pros want to see but start the first year and learn under Shedeur and practice with him in Dallas or wherever. I'm trying not to get excited or too excited because I usually sych myself out and we lose it but I'm super superstitious and so I'm trying to remain hopeful but also kinda confident but a tad nervous still. UsC seems just a toxic environment if I were coming in. Worst case if ge sees Colorado for a year and doesn't fit him he's gunna still demand high offers elsewhere. But if he goes and I think he will love CU as much as It seems like he does. Setting that last visit to me means it's a real shot because he wants the last thing in his mind be the determining factor hood or bad and there's SO many guys that were not here earlier that arebnow that were nervous for sure like Cordelle Russell C5 someone that WANTS to stay here abd turn this program into one of the next greats and JuJu would need to fprm a relationship with him for sure. But C5 told DNVR and Life and football that Colorado just felt like home. It was away from home so he felt like he was really doing something but it treated me like home and seemed to truly care for me and the plans that I have amd that I have including CU like a natty and one this year if not next. If we lose Shedeur we got others but JuJu would he the guy and be able to day hey...in just my time here (a month) I've grown to absolutely love this place and I was at X, Y, Z etc and liked it there. But the people here or the weather or the fun atmosphere and other things. Colorado has it going on and a lot going for it including being close to things and the mountains and 300 days of sunshine a year. Just so much more but they can sorta give the guys that gave a longer time here explanation to how it was being a new guy and needing yo immediately find out if I enjoyed it and I did and this is why etc. Just could be neat. JuJu will not end this team if he doesn't sign or commit to CU but he sure would be great. That said. Staub, Wade, Taylor and more and more than capable it just would be a neat recruit to land JuJu and show him very fast how his life can change but not only that but he can change Colorado football in a fast amount if time even if he stays all 4 years and stuff, his impact will be greatly felt. So please come and get down to winning a title at CU this year or next year when you join! We got your back and will support ya unless against us but we just want to support ya here and hope you find the strength in that pen to commit/ sign! No rush or pressure....just like Nike tho...Just do it! Lol. #WeWantJuJu #SkoBuffs

That’s truly a false narrative that’s out there. NFL players come from EVERYWHERE! If you’re an NFL player, they will find you, regardless of the conference.
Obviously Prime would love to flip the kid now. But, keep in mind even if the kid goes to USC, Prime is recruiting him as a potential transfer down the road in the event Miller Moss ends up being the real deal at USC. He won’t wanna stay there no matter how good Riley is.

It actually come down to specific teams not conferences for QB selection. USC has put a lot of QBs into the NFL.

He’s going to USC - he is just letting CU down as easy as he can - he let it slip “he could give up on me and go after a guy”
