Keir told her mother she planned to spend the day at Buckroe Beach with Chloe and a friend, but they never arrived for the meeting with Keir's friend, and neither of them have been heard from again. Their family reported them missing the next day. On May 14, Keir's black 2013 Kia Optima with the Virginia license plate number VAW-2197 was found abandoned at a trailer park at Jefferson Avenue and Arch Street in Newport News, Virginia. She has no history of running away and it's uncharacteristic of her to be out of touch with her loved ones. Newport News police are investigating the Johnsons' cases, which remain unsolved. Keir's twin sister believes someone Keir knew was responsible for their disappearances.

When cases like this doesn't get national attention I look at the police with a side eye. Something about this case makes me question if it was someone closest to her or someone within law enforcement. Father we need more of you surrounding us and our kids from the wickedness of this world 🙏🏾

I can imagine how this mother feels not knowing where her child and grandchild is located. A mother knows when something is not right . Why did it have to take 11 days to even investigate my goodness.

There were rumors that he was married and didn’t want the baby, people are saying her child’s father and his wife may have had something to do with it, I mean if you go back to 2017 he is not mentioned or seen looking for his baby not one time 😢

The way she cried out for her mother you can tell she has come to the realization of life and the pain life causes, in which she can no longer bare or lead as a strong mother and woman, she sounded like a child bc we all know our Moms can fix anything right then and there and always make us feel better she needed her mom to fix it even tho she can't right away but...so sad, I'm praying for her.

11 days. ELEVEN DAY'S. That was 11 days that could have been used to find them, maybe even alive. This is so disheartening. Just heartbreaking. I'm praying for her mom and the rest of her family. 🙏🏾💔
This literally made me cry! I am so glad you are telling the stories of the missing. Because of the increase in black femicide there hasn't been as much conversation about missing black women and girls. Prior to the pandemic, the number of missing black women and girls was 64,000. Now the number is 100,000.
Blk women need to stop going out at night partying all the time hang out side all the time, stay yall asses home sometimes, the more yall step foot outside walking off somewhere, the greater chance stuff like this will often happen to yall..but we can't tell yall anything because yall grown & yall can do whatever yall want..

Now, that chief could've kept all the back patting @ 13:12. A child is involved. There's no "(diligent) analytical, professional" involved if it takes 11 days for something to "trip" the system. She wasn't where she said she would be and the time that passed could've made all the difference. He should've skipped right on over that. Obscure "bits and pieces" and "resources".... verbal dancing. I'm glad the reporters pressed that.
I was completely livid that it took them almost 2 weeks to send out an alert. For the ones in this area, we kept posting, changing our profile pics to them & all. Smh

Exactly. That’s what pissed me off. When she went missing we heard, a short lived community search and that seemed to be it………nothing else. My heart was broken seeing her mother cry like that. She want and need her babies back home!

This is a nice Area so I'm surprised this happened. It could be the baby father or it could be somebody else. I just pray they get them back but I don't think she's alive anymore. The baby could still be alive tho. I just pray they get answered.
Lord Jesus, I'm sitting here in my car at work watching this and my heart is hurting for this mother. To hear this grown woman cry out to her mother,for her grown daughter and grandbaby, is just heartwrenching. I could not imagine losing any of my children and they're grown. As a parent, you just want to wrap your arms around your children and continue to protect in adulthood as you did in their childhood. It's just pure evilness in this world when someone takes another person's life so senseless. My prayers go out to this family still.

I always wondered what happened to this case i remember this like it was yesterday, i used to see her Mom at my job all the time my Mom and her were acquaintances, she used to look so sad i would always crack a joke or two just to get her to smile im still praying for them🙏🏾

Wow this happened where my brother lives in Hampton. Every summer we go to visit him we visit that same beach. I can’t imagine her family having to endure such pain. Someone she knows or close to her knows something. Hearing her mother weep like that is gut wrenching 😢😢

The officer kept saying immediately, but if it was so immediate why it took so long to start the amber alert and the process to start looking for her and her precious baby girl, seems like had they spring into action within the first 48 hours the leads to finding her and the baby may have been greater. I wish the urgency could've been the day they went missing. Smh, lord I pray they find them alive and well 🙏🏾

Now, that chief could've kept all the back patting @ 13:12. A child is involved. There's no "(diligent) analytical, professional" involved if it takes 11 days for something to "trip" the system. She wasn't where she said she would be and the time that passed could've made all the difference. He should've skipped right on over that. Obscure "bits and pieces" and "resources".... verbal dancing. I'm glad the reporters pressed that.

Exactly. That’s what pissed me off. When she went missing we heard, a short lived community search and that seemed to be it………nothing else. My heart was broken seeing her mother cry like that. She want and need her babies back home!

Lord Jesus, I'm sitting here in my car at work watching this and my heart is hurting for this mother. To hear this grown woman cry out to her mother,for her grown daughter and grandbaby, is just heartwrenching. I could not imagine losing any of my children and they're grown. As a parent, you just want to wrap your arms around your children and continue to protect in adulthood as you did in their childhood. It's just pure evilness in this world when someone takes another person's life so senseless. My prayers go out to this family still.

I always wondered what happened to this case i remember this like it was yesterday, i used to see her Mom at my job all the time my Mom and her were acquaintances, she used to look so sad i would always crack a joke or two just to get her to smile im still praying for them🙏🏾

Wow this happened where my brother lives in Hampton. Every summer we go to visit him we visit that same beach. I can’t imagine her family having to endure such pain. Someone she knows or close to her knows something. Hearing her mother weep like that is gut wrenching 😢😢

The officer kept saying immediately, but if it was so immediate why it took so long to start the amber alert and the process to start looking for her and her precious baby girl, seems like had they spring into action within the first 48 hours the leads to finding her and the baby may have been greater. I wish the urgency could've been the day they went missing. Smh, lord I pray they find them alive and well 🙏🏾
