- If you're looking for a new MTB grip, be sure to check out these Wolftooth Fat Paw Silicone grips! These silicone grips are great, but one small problem: they get wet and slippery.
If you're a beginner or intermediate rider, be careful when riding in wet conditions with these grips. You might end up going down hard if you're not careful!

Whats Your Favorite Grip?
Air compressor is the easiest way to go on and off…it’d prolly wake up the baby tho 🤔
@@broadfjord7087you 100% get it 😂
Use an air compressor to install or remove them.
I use the ESI Chunky grips and yes they are fragile. I just plan to replace them once a year - good thing they're inexpensive! I also use compressed air to slide them on and off so I don't desiccate my hands with alcohol.
Yeah my buddy runs the ESI Ones, basically the same for the most part. Yeah Compressed air helps but its so loud haha
Great video, I have those grips and I absolutely love them, no more hand or arm fatigue. In regards installing or taking them off, I use an air compressor, I just blow the air inside the grip and slides right off, super easy! Cheers!!!
I run these grips agree they damage easily. I install them with 1/4" of the handlebar end showing and slip on a clamp-on grip clamp for end protection. Best grips when you have some arthritis in wrists.
Thats pretty smart!
Authentic battle damage is cool! Honestly, I love these!
When I was a kid, there were grips for BMX that were foam. We just "borrowed" our mom's White Rain or AquaNet, sprayed them real well and they slipped right on. When it dried, they still held well. Your wife wouldn't use AquaNet or White Rain by any chance? LOL!
OMG! I Completely forgot about those days! We use to use Aquanet on our Dirt Bike Grips back in the day!
I recommend using double sided tape, and window cleaner or alcohol during installation. Slides right on. Unless it's raining window cleaner, grips should stay put.
I've been liking the Van's gum rubber grips that I put on the ebike
my sons bike has those, they look cool
Nice video - ESI also makes grips out of silicone, which I love. Apparently, they're also working on a lock-on version that's supposed to be available next year. I use their "extra chunky" version, but they have an even thicker one.
A Lock on version would be awesome! Not sure how that would work though.
@@MTBRadDad I mean why couldn’t the silicone be wrapped around a plastic sleeve that slides on like a normal lock-on?
I suggested it to ESI and said they plan to release it in 2023. So I guess we will see!
@@al1843 Narrator: We didn't see.
What GPS mount is that?!
It’s a mount from Magic shine 👍
Just use hairspray to put them on ,slid on easy and stick on when it dries 👍😉
I love the sleeping baby!!! Great video!
Its Crazy! I used some old footage and he's gonna be 2 this weekend! Haha
I think they're made of silicone bud.
Man you are mixing 2 things. So is it SILICON or FOAM? Thats 2 different material. Foam, Silicon, Rubber.

You can't take them on and off. Id never run them again
Just hope you dont have to modify your cockpit haha
Compressed air makes removal easy.
Just get a little bit of windex under the grip, twist a few times and your grips are removed!
