The pattern on the etch is called the widmanstatten pattern and is seen in metorites because of the iron nickel crystals forming a long structure, etching reveals the different metals in the metorite which is why they are diffent shades and reflectiveness

Having both the ring and the gem both being meteorites would be cool, you can purchase moldivite meteorite (which is green and was the idea for kryptonite for superman) for a fair price and even purchase ones that are cut into gem quality. Just a thought if you bring such a ring into production. Great craftsmanship and look forward to the next video.

It's made from uru metal, not the core of a start, whatever that means. The star is used to heat the metal. As for stars, google project thunderbolt and be prepared to have your universe turned upside down!

Its definitely real meteorite, and in the first video you see it still in the cut slab of the meteorite it was made from.
