@@dylanlyon2795, LISTEN LIKE CRAZY before you learn them! You need to develop a strong mental concept of style when it comes to any excerpt before learning it. That way, practicing it becomes easier because you know how it should sound. Once you’ve developed a strong mental concept, then learn the excerpts with a METRONOME! Don’t do what I did in high school and just neglect rhythm. Those habits are really hard to break. It’s easier to just learn them correctly the first time.
Just listened again, I’m sure there is one trombone part in the audio. Kleinhammer had an extremely bright and powerful sound, it does come off as more than one trombone (so kudos to him) but I’m certain it’s just the 1 trombone version in the audio.
Usted es un poco inculto musicalmente. Hay una versión para tres trombones y Tuba. Y otra para un trombón solo y Tuba. Está muy claro. No hay pie para crear una discusión.
great to see mr kleinhammer by himself. A great player
I'm playing this excerpt for my GDYO audition. It's difficult, but if played correctly, it's very rewarding.
Same, a year later I'm doing La Gazza Ladra, Ride of the Valkyries, and Tuba Mirum, do you have any tips for the audition?
I’m doing this too on tenor tbn, how often do they repeat audition material?

This video shows one tbn however there are three playing in the audio.
Just one trombone, the part is also in some of the strings and woodwinds.
@@BrianJohnstonTrombone No there's definitely 3 trombone parts, the only one shown playing is the bass trombone but all 3 parts are being played

@@hallmarkdci3829 There are many different editions of this score and this one just calls for one trombone.
