Traxxas all of it! I love the new wheel wells, shell, rock sliders, portal axles, EVERYTHING!!! In my opinion... TRAXXAS should make more crawlers like this one!!

The trx-4 looks absolutely stunning! The features and ability of this trail truck are seriously innovative. I am gonna have to say my favorite feature is the portal axles! Hope to get one in the very near future!

The best part about the new TRX 4 are the remote Diff locks. This has to be the most innovative next level feature on the Crawler market. Game changer!
had one for 3 years, took it to so many locations, even to spain, italy, belgium and austria, did not change a single thing on it, the front bumper has a lot of scratches on it, but man this thing shreads through sand, gravel, stones , water and snow

on the fly locking differentials. low/ high gear also adjustable on the fly, all from the radio. gorgeous defender body with loads of attention to detail. how anout just being amazing all around. i dont have a favorite feature. i have a favorite rc truck thanks to the trx4. ive only gotten to demo a display model at a local hobby shop and i jave dreames of one since.
My favorite feature of the TRX-4 is that I own it :-).. Just waiting for the mods to hit the market.

Favorite feature? The Devil is really in the details for this one. You guys implemented some very cool designs and features that very few, if any, other manufactures have done out of the box. The biggest one for me are those portal axles.
Buying one today! Such an awesome truck. The blazer looks great too. The blazer was my favorite truck growing up but this defender just looks epic. Thank Traxxas for all the innovative rc’s you come out with and keeping this hobby alive and strong.

$450+ tax, I love everything about the new TRX4!!! by Traxxas, the fastest name in radio control!!! ;)
The TRX4 to me, is the ultimate Scale Trail running rig!!! As for the TRX4 being a serious Rock Crawler, I think it has a great potential for the Rocks!!! The overall weight is a little on the heavy side for being able to stand it on the rear bumper and drive up whatevers in your path. So you might need to swap the battery to the front frame section, after you build a plate. But this will change the overall dynamics of the TRX4.

So as I see it, the TRX4 can be made just shy of unstoppable, for next to nothing as far as cost is concerned!!! ;) Truly the ULTIMATE SCALE TRAIL RIG!!! ;)

My first Rock Crawler. Really like this truck. The body is a little top heavy which makes it tricky when traversing inclined rocky areas as it has a tendency to tip. So far, I've had mine for a few weeks and it's all stock.
Oh yeah, very random, but about 10% of the screws have rusted after a light water excursion followed by a cleaning session. I use my compressor to try to dry it off as much as possible, but apparently it doesn't take much to start rusting.

Favourite feature of the TRX-4? Singular? That's tricky to pick just one, but for me it has to be the 2-speed transmission - either slow, steady and serious when climbing or just full POWER/SPEED ..two lots of fun in one vehicle!

I would have to say if I had a choice for free to pick one RC Ready to run crawler out of all the crawlers on the market. I would have to say the TRX4. I am not getting paid for this and just saying. This out of the box it's one of the best trail crawlers I have ever owned by far. Well done Traxxas like always!!!

i love the high and low gear in it and why is bc when you need that lil bit of power to get up something you can put it in high and get on it.. only think i dont like is the motor took a crap on me on my 2ed time out with it... but besides that i like it so far

I have one I go threw water and mud and it still works I oil it and I love it I but brand new tires on it and they pull good and in put a LED light bar on it it works fine it's a good rc truck love it !!!

Can the spare tire on the back be used or is it only a decoration? It looks like it can attach to an axle because it is mounted just like it would be on an axle. The screw and bolt mounting it are the same size and shape as the ones on its axle.
And the solid axels is the best item on new rc

Can anyone awnser bc on the website it doesn't say if it's water proof but my questions are do the lights work is it water proof and is it good steering or does it fully turn right or left
I have seen some problems with the servo burning up have any of you guys at traxxas seen this problem or is it just some peopel have it im considering getting the trx4 but not sure to if the servo has problems
