It's similar to what came before but still feels off.
That's the OG season, it feels more like a mimic of what came before rather than being a true representation. For starters the small battle pass was done away with long before season 5 and the guns still have their modern look about them.
Heck back in the day you had to earn xp just to unlock more skin variety for your Ragnarok after you got him.
The new OG season is basically Chapter 4’s Season X and it’s so good
@@TheScarletSlayer I get your point. To me playing Fortnite OG felt like playing a creative map when I first played it. It was cool, visiting OG POIs, but then the nostalgia wore off and now Im just bored from the season. The map feels bland, boring and just.... not interesting. (I mean, its just a flat plane pretty much) The loot pool is.... Uhhh... I understand its Fortnite OG, but the loot is just annoyingly bad. (That may just be me though, as I never liked the pump and liked the newer guns) Not even counting shields, or lack-there-of. But if people enjoy it, good for them. Ill just finish the BP for collection and leave it to others, while returning for the event and Chapter 5.

2 years ago, this season came out. Despite all of the crazy items, I LOVED this season. I never played competitively so this was just pure joy! Hopefully the rest of Chapter 2 keeps adding amazingly fun items like in season X. I feel like this was the perfect conclusion to Chapter 1 by letting us enjoy the fun heart of the game at it's fullest and go on a nostalgia trip.

If I were to be honest, this has been the best Fortnite season yet. Map changes came out every week or so, bringing back old, new, and altered POIs. The updates were all fun, and like you said, the Mech was super fun. If Season 8 is truly is the last season of Chapter 2, I’m sad it didn’t end off in as big of a boom as Chapter 1.
Ngl season x has to be one of my favourite seasons now that I look back. I made so many unforgettable friends that season I’m literally tearing up

Honestly the brutes aren't that powerful. They're only good for long range and it takes two stomps to kill someone with 100hp. They only have a thousand health so even a duo can take it out with ease. If you're in solo you can just hop in someone's mech and self destruct it. And if your mech blows up it does 100 damage to you if you're in or close to it

It won't be vaulted. If anything it will be a major nerf. Planes were in all of season 7 and didnt get vaulted but got a big nerf because that was one of the main focuses if that season. Mechs are a main focus of this season so its highly likely that they will be nerfed instead of vaulted

Yeah, I really liked this season, i miss the rift zones and chaotic loot pool it had. And same, i also wish to play in this season one more time to explore all the rift zones that I didnt really explore that well.

It's amazing how Fortnite went from Knights, Astronauts and Default skins, to Iron Man, Street Fighter, and Travis Scott

The mechs were the only annoying thing beside that it was amazing because it shows us so much change like look at chapter 2 season 4,5,6 huge map change and boom next season it’s gone chapter barely had any coral sucks catty corner was forgotten and sludgy just stopped being landed at but chapter 1 has special permanent changes while yes some didt stay like Kevin or polar most of the island stayed and was not as special but didt need to make it so once we lost it would go away forever

In most cases yes competitive ruined fortnite, (Infinity blade, countless other vaults) but the mech is so overpowered. The fact that it can shoot a building and it not only breaks all the wall, but does 200 damage to you is just gonna make me stop playing (which I have done)

It really is fun to come back and look back at chapter 1, this season was my most favorite season of all time, I made so many good memories in chapter 1 and season x had most of my best ones, this season was so much fun no sweaty players no noobs everyone was equal, the game got played to the fullest with all the amazing cosmetics and weapons and mechs, I never really was the competitive type so there was only joy and fun and no stress, everything was a blast, and just the style of the game back then was so swicked, ironically I coming back to the video of the last season of chapter 1 during the last season of chapter 2, good job chapter 1 and 2, chapter 3 has alot to top, hope you can do it cuz chapter 2 couldn't, it got super duper close tho
Take me back to these times man, when the game was fun. I still play chapter 3 but don’t enjoy as much

This season was one of the greatest for me, when the mechs weren’t there towards the end I had so much fun it’s the first season where I played with all my friends properly I actually miss this season soo much more than people would imagine
I just realized that the old mechs had teeth too but just weren’t painted in. Crazy to see these guys back on the map just before the end again. Expect them back again before the end of Chapter 3 lol
