- In its 5th year on Broadway, "Kinky Boots" is the winner of every major "Best Musical" award, including the Tony, Grammy and London's Oliver Award. Based on a true story and the indie film of the same name, "Kinky Boots" follows young Brit Charlie Price, who abandons his family’s shoe factory to live with his demanding girlfriend in London. After the unexpected death of his father, Charlie returns to the struggling factory and finds it’s up to him to figure out a way to keep the business alive. Enter Lola, a fabulous drag queen, who gives Charlie the idea to create ladies’ shoes for men. Soon, the factory is turning out “kinky boots” under the supervision of Charlie and Lola, but can this harebrained scheme actually work? Kirstin is so adorable when she's giggling, or gets shy. I'm so happy she's living her dream!
Kirstie's advice about pushing yourself to do things that scare you really inspired me. I have the same problem where I'm so scared of what people will think or not being good enough that I hold myself back from doing things that make me happy.
I've never seen a real proper broadway show and now this interview makes me want Kinky Boots to be my first! i would LOVE to see Kirstin perform cause i know this is such a dream for her and she's just so talented. Jake seems like a sweetheart too.

I am shocked that the rest of PTX hasn't even come to see Kirstin on Broadway! They used to be so close! That makes me sad and I am honestly in disbelief! They could take the time to support their bandmate and, for Scott and Mitch, friends since Childhood! WTH.!?
Scott and Mitch have both said that they are planning to go to see her, but don’t want to advertise when - because they don’t want PTX fans to upstage Kirstie’s big thing by focusing on them too!
