The torso is actually an entirely new sculpt, nearly everything on this guy is! He's definitely one of the best Batmen done by McFarlane to date, and I'd personally put Rebirth Batman at a close second.

One very small gripe that I have with this figure is the grey could have been a little darker because the grey on the figure is a little bright but to me, This Batman figure is the best because he looks great and will go good with the Action Comics 1000 Superman, new Target Flash, and the Endless Winter Aquaman, I don't have him but I might.

This is my definitive silver age/ Neil Adam’s type Batman, cant wait to see how it compares with the Mafex Knightfall Batman that comes out next year

I like that they painted his cowl a shiny blue. I reminds me of a modern Adam West Batsuit. His cowl was made of a satin fabric.
I love this figure. I prefer Batman to be leaner rather than hulking.

I actually like the lighter gray of his suit. Reminds me of the old Super Powers figure. Would love a Batman/Bane Knightall two pack. I actually heard rumors that one is coming. Hopefully, they will remove Bane's strap/harness and like you say, repaint at least the mask.
I would LOVE to get a rerelease of Bane from McFarlane (even if in a two-pack with this Batman figure)! Missed out on it the first time, and I've been looking for it ever since, but it's never at a decent price!
The color scheme on the batsuit gives me some Adam West Batman vibes 🦇
I wonder if they will reissue this Batman with the metal clawed gauntlets to be a Jean Paul Valley as Batman (from before he creates the armored suit)
This is easily the best Batman figure that McFarlane Toys have produced so far. The head sculpt looks great. I like the cape. The paint is pretty clean and I like the vibrant blue. However, the grey is too light. I appreciate the fact that the bat symbol is sculpted instead of simply being painted. Articulation is pretty good. This is a solid figure release on the part of McFarlane Toys! Thanks, Spot! I greatly appreciate the hard work! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!

Interestingly, the joints on my copy were very stiff - particularly around the shoulders, so I found myself popping the arm off to change the pose, in case I snapped the ball joint (squints at Batman Year 2 as case in point). Beyond that, I agree that it's a fantastic figure, though as usual, McFarlane play fast and loose with their scaling.

Mine looks a little bit different. The blue and gray colors are darker and there is some black shading added to the cowl and trunks. Weird.

The trunks are actually a good move on McFarlanes part. Let’s us know he’s listening, bc the “diapers” were one of the draw backs they were too big atleast he’s trimming more away
