Functionally, the way Catman holsters his knives, he can never sit down without risking the chance that the tip of his knives could poke his behind.
Picturing him just squatting all the time instead and people being confused.

Only for this action figure. Realistically, the knives might still flop around even on the belt. So when he sits, he'd just move them out of the way of his butt.
Honestly, due to your hype for Catman (and that one playday episode), i decided to read the Secret 6 run, and man now Catman is my favorite DC character as well! Cant wait for my PO to arrive!

I'm so happy for Robo getting his Catman! That feeling of getting a modern figure of a beloved character, is just a thing of beauty.
Whenever I think of Catman I think of Adam West, also a pink and green Fairy but that's neither here nor there. But honestly my first experience with Catman was on Fairlyodd Parents. I know that's technically a different character, but he's designed to look exactly the same. So because of that whenever I come across Catman whether it's in Crash comics, DC comics, Ac comics, Dynamite, or whatever I hear Adam Wests voice coming off the panels. Anyone else have that same problem.
kind of funny though, when I read DC because it makes me remember a throwaway line in Wanted where they tell You that Adam West was the real Batman and that he was a super effective and the most scary and violent Batman, but that he was brainwashed to be a campy Actor parodying his own persona on national tv for the supervillains to enjoy.
I'm really pleased with the most recent McFarlane releases. These especially have some really solid base bodies they can add to or tweak for characters that don't need completely bespoke sculpts. Grade A reuse.

This version of the Blue Beetle is more like Steve Ditko's Charlton original Ted Kord Blue Beetle. The goggles and the colors are much better than the 2 pack version, IMO. When DC got the Blue Beetle, they changed the goggle shapes, and that softened his look a bit. This is just a much better looking hero to me. I don't hate the modern, updated Ted Kord Beetle, but yeah--give me this one! Got him in yesterday, and man it's just great!
My Catman figure should be here arriving this week, and I got the Knightfall Batman figure in a week or two back. I think the regular Knightfall Batman is grand, but the Gold Label Knightfall Batman might be my personal favorite action figure of this year! It's just amazing! Definitive Batman!
This Catman release has me itching for a Ragdoll, he was my favourite member.

Out of these 2 from this review from DC McFarlane Toys, I might get Blue Beetle because the character is cool and the other DC Multiverse action figures that I will probably get too when I get the money is the Knightfall Batman, Duke Thomas The Signal, Three Jokers The Clown, Target comic exclusive Flash, Great review.

I'm currently on Holiday but I did order the Blue Beetle/Booster Gold 2-pack before leaving. I just set up a new shelf for this line and so far I've mostly collected villains, but those two seemed like a good set. I do hope that Catman releases here in the UK at some point, a few of those store exclusives sometimes do. I've said it a bunch but given how good he looks I really hope we get other goofier villains in the line, Killer Moth is one of my favorite DC characters despite his goofiness and I think he'd look great alongside Catman.

I got my Catman yesterday! I cut back on this line last year, but when Todd makes classic or obscure stuff like this and Knightfall Bats, I'm in. I'd prefer MAFEX but Todd needs that Judas Contract Deathstroke already. And if he makes Ragdoll, I'll be very happy!

I have that Mattel Catman. I have completely forgot about it. Seeing it again it is a bit rough. McFarlane made a much better looking figure.
The McFarlane Toys Gold Label Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) also has the following differences from 2-pack with Booster Gold:
1) New rear box art.
2) His yellow goggles are his pre-Justice League (Keith Giffen, Kevin Maguire) look. This is the Blue Beetle that you'll see in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and kind of what John Byrne did in Legends.
The two things that the Gold Label Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) is missing, if you're wanting a 100% comic accurate version, are:
1. He carried the Scarab in his belt buckle. The Scarab was the only reason why the Monitor recruited Blue Beetle in Crisis on Infinite Earths. The Monitor believed the Scarab was powerful enough to help defeat the Shadow Demons, but a Shadow Demon had to touch Ted Kord for the Scarab to work. Getting touched by a Shadow Demon burned Ted Kord. Ted Kord, unlike Dan Garrett, formed no connection with the Scarab. Without that connection, Ted couldn't directly use any powers of the Scarab.
2. His gloves are missing the yellow ovals, which Ted Kord used to summon The Bug.

I like the fact we shop at the same (maybe) target as if anything is ever out of stock i blame robo lol they used blue and gold art for the card and convergence for the back, yet I notice the figure itself is based on extreme justice. Say I’m wrong!
OK Fwoosh, for more classic designs in this line you have to get Jay Garrick, Knightfall Catwoman and the upcoming Alan Scott and DC Classics Riddler.
I think I have every issue of the secret six, it was a great run and Catman was the best.
I'd really like to see a Catman figure with the newer costume.

Man Catman was very unexpected. Went and preordered asap. Agreed Villains United introduced me to many of those characters and Secret Six just added with that Team of Catman, Bane (saw a scale between the norm and Megefig would be perfect for him), Ragdoll (need crazy articulation for him. Need to fold him up into a box, like that chest that came with the Halloween trooper), Scandal, Classic Deadshot, (the white mask not that metal layer thing from nu52), Knockout, Silver Banshee and the OG King Shark design from Superboy. Yes aking Shark was in Superboy aka Conner Kent's first solo series. Issue 4 I believe. Toss in a comic style classic Harley for that Birds of Prey crossover tale and I'm fully in.
Blue Beetle, I had the first cause want the the real Justice League team that fought Doomsday. Beetle and Booster, Fire and Ice, Yellow ring Guy Gardner, Bloodwynd, and Maxima

I don't know much about Cat man, but this figure looks pretty cool, you know if I ever get out of here, I'm gonna see what Catman can do, yup, thats what I'm gonna do. lol ever since you said you were going to get this fig, I've been waiting to pounce on this opportunity to spring this Kathmandu joke!

I'm waiting my Blue Beetle should be here Sunday, Robo I don't know if you have seen the Cinemark Blue Beetle Popcorn bucket, it is the Bug I got one and I'm going to try and work it so Ted can ride in it as maybe a Mini Bug that he uses for Solo Missions. You should check it out you could use it as ACBA from.the right angles.
Catman I love this figure I agree it need a bit of stubble on the face, and it is is just fantastic. I need the rest of the Secret Six.

I'd like to see cloth capes starting to pop-up elsewhere in the line. They do their best with the sculpted capes but for me, always prefer a nice cloth one, wired or not.
