The Laurie Strode in this song (2018-2022) is actually not Michael's sister. The Laurie Strode from the original Halloween to Ressurection (1978-2002) was Michael's sister and was killed in Halloween: Ressurection (2002) at the beginning of the movie

What I find funny is how after 44 years of Michael myers rampage Laurie realizes Michael isn't impervious to knifes or being thrown into a fucking grinder like sharp things seem to be the only thing that hurts him to the point he can't heal from it

I thought Laurie would hunt Michael down to hell for the death of Laurie's daughter, that his focus the whole movie would be killing Michael Myres, but Michael barely appears in the movie, and their confrontation wasn't until the end of the movie. I really think leaving Michael weak and Corey dying was a bad idea, especially since the movie is casting Corey as a replacement for Myres.
