Yvng there is an assumption that all Somalis hate Ethiopians and All Ethiopians hates Somalis but that it's far from the truth. Both people hate each other is just the opposite system/government and what it has done to them in the past. Both Ethiopians and Somalis do not like to be dominated by one ethnic group or another and through out history there has been domination of others by other ethnic groups. So the hate comes from the fear of prosecution and domination but what's more important is we are Africans and our emotional feeling founded on the past history of war should not breed hate towards each other but foster reconciliation and acceptance of each other.

Ethiopia is the only African country that sent combat troops to help us 80 years ago. Haile Selassie I liked us and helped us through their difficult circumstances. Ironically, in Ethiopia, where they sent their best soldiers to help us, there was a security gap that led to the overthrow of the government by the communists and the assassination of Haile Selassie I. I believe due to politics a lot of countries in Africa haven’t even had a chance to participate let alone win and the fact that in almost 99% of the time since miss world has been on it has been Eurocentric, the beauty standard is European based, the judges are are mostly European and American.
So Africans don’t stand a chance. Atleast not the same chance as European countries, Americas and Asia have.
It seems the closer to European features you have the better your odds of winning. So that shouldn’t count.

On behalf of kenya, i apologize to the one young man who said does not like kenya because of corruption. Unfortunately it bitter true. Corruption is widespread in Kenya and many other African countries. Many Ethiopia youth pay bribes to pass through Kenya to south africa searching for greener pasture. Ethiopia was better off from corruption in the past but not sure now.
But aside from his personal experience, Kenya has been our most peaceful neighbor since its independence. Great appreciation for that!

We should thank CZcamsrs like you, even in 21st Century, most of us are not capable of traveling to these countries ourselves and speaking to these people. These are such an eye opener, you get to know a lot about poeple just by their hate and love attitude towards places.
