So he did wear it occasionally, he just didn't like the experience of walking in it so he was happy they hired a guy to do stuff like fight scenes and running. He even kinda acts like him. His mannerisms and the microexpressions in the first few episodes instantly reminded me of Denzel. He's actually a fantastic actor and did a great job as Maximus.

Yes, but it was developed in secret before the war by the US government, aka the Enclave. It is Enclave MK1 Power Armor. X-02 would be MK2 power armor, which would be the armor you see most wearing in fallout 3 and NV, and X-03 would be the hellfire power armor.
New Vegas is the only main title fallout game (we ain't including side titles such as tactics, shelter etc) that didn't feature a power armour on the cover art. Even fallout 1 had the t51b on its cover and fallout 2's cover featured the X-01 prototype power armour.

I understand your point but you have to look at it from the perspective of what does our movie culture rely on? Cgi, practical effects have become an afterthought for a lot of these movies and shows, so their priority isn't to make the practical effects feel real which was a main focus for movies like the original jurassic park which they prioritized the practical to create an authentic reality. Now I don't think the power armor is bad in the show considering you can't have it weighs a few tons like the real armor because the actor needs to be able to breathe/ move and trying to walk when your feet are weighed down by like 60 pounds of metal. I personally think shows and movies should return to the practical effects because it just made everything feel real.
Its funny to know how old that armor is in the lore, this is like a knight from the midevil dark ages, finding and wearing roman empire centurion armor
That's more accurate than you realize. A suit of the best Roman armor would have been superior to anything made until late in the medieval period, just like the T-60 would be better than any wasteland armor.
Legacy did absolutely incredible, NGL. We get up close and personal with these props too. Well done look forward to seeing what more they come up with on the practical effects side.
The t60 is the best power armor design by far. So glad someone decided to introduce it in fo4. It looks so good, especially with the brotherhood paint jobs and ESPECIALLY with the atom cats paint job.
Not a correction, but filling in omission... there were several different t60 builders made by high skill cosplayers that were used in the series. Same goes for all other sorts of set items and props in the series like nosleeptillcosplay had their assaultron cosplay featured as the destroyed assaultron in the sand.
