    I have lived here and in surrounding cities my whole life and can honestly say Navarre Beach is my favorite place to be .. ☀️🌊
    The tourist attractions took over Destin and some of Fort Walton Beach 😔 so I am hoping, as a Local, we can keep our beloved Navarre Beach as natural as possible... that’s part of what makes it so beautiful..

    I've seen many beaches but haven't found a better beach than Navarre yet. My #1 for sure.

    Looks amazing! I can't wait to come back to the area. The Florida Panhandle is underrated in terms of beaches.

    Here see why called "The Emerald Coast". The color of the water.

    I just read in the Navarre paper that they are going to build a hotel next to the Caribbean.

    It's amazing the colors of the water changed so much at one point or another. Why do you think that was?

    • @brettrachford

      The ocean and The Sound were featured in the footage. As you’re likely aware, the water in The Sound is never as pretty and aqua/green/blue as the ocean in Navarre. It varies in color day-to-day. Often grayish in color but sometimes very dark blue. The footage captured of the fisherman in the boat was captured far from shore (you’ll see that near the end of the video when you can see him and the shore). The reason the water is so dark there is simply because of the depth of the ocean floor beneath the fisherman. Navarre is beautiful in so many ways. I am in awe of seeing this paradise from a bird’s eye view. Hope you enjoyed it.

    What is the area or beach called at 2:10?

    • @brettrachford
      @brettrachford  Před 3 lety +1

      All of the footage is Navarre Beach. The area at the 2:10 mark is just to the East of the fishing pier.

    Why does the water change colors so drastically and one photo it’s emerald green the other photo it’s black and another photo is dreary gray

    • @brettrachford
      @brettrachford  Před 7 měsíci

      The emerald green is the ocean. The ‘jet ski’ portion was captured on the Sound and the color of the water there is typically black or very dark. The Sound always differs in color when compared to the ocean. I’m uncertain about the dreary gray. Perhaps you could reference a time stamp within the video featuring the dreary gray and i will share where the footage was captured.
