Tremeres is a lineage of magicians who helped the camarilla, nothing too expressive as this makes them a clan without antidiluvian. on the one hand good and on the other hand something very bad. Cain is the least to be concerned about because Nod's book says he woke up and cried out to him all the power of his children even though he never slept and in the by night you can have little moments of his presence

They're also doing a werewolf game, I think. Released a trailer for it last year sometime. Though it may take them a very long time to get to it, given that it took them years to get out a trailer, and the trailer has no actual in-engine footage, or gameplay featured. Probably waiting to see how Vampire does first, I'd imagine.

It honestly makes me really sad seeing the *work* put behind these promos and knowing the game might never be released in its full potential/is stuck in development hell. Mistoda and Ka’i (? I’m bad with names) Paradox might have booted you out but you guys had real vision and a real understanding of what made the World of Darkness so alluring
I mean most part of the game is already finished, so i don't think it's never going to be released. You could say it's in development purgatorium, whatever studio takes the project just has to finish something that's already done.
Supposedly a new "Reputable" Studio took over development recently. No word on who though. Imagine if Obsidian took over?

Sucks for us and my nosferatu friends 😔 My first playthrough in bloodlines 1 was gangrel and I was hoping to keep it that way but hey at least Malkavian is in another fave of mine. Hoping the DLC will be worth it I’d also hope for some more diversity like the Lasombra and Tzimiche clans those would be cool

Wait thinblood is an actual clan? I thought they were vampires with such diluted blood that they barely had powers and some could even still eat and be in the sun?
recent lore makes them a lot more powerful with special alchemy that lets them replicate other disciplines, the ability to survive in sunlight, and several other buffs
@@Tomosshow I don't know about "a lot more powerful". At least not as individuals, but due to their numbers, and how many of them can walk in the sunlight and easily live as humans, they are very difficult to find and can come for you when you are at your most vulnerable. Alternatively, if kindred play things smart, Thinbloods could be their greatest weapon against the Second Inquisition whose typical means of kindred detection would not work against most Thinbloods.

Bit of shame we don't have Nosferatu or Gangrel in this one, but I understand. It is definitely harder to create multiple very unique playstyles in modern games. Nosferatu would probably have been a bitch to add. Even bloodlines 1 didn't completely do it right I feel. Really glad Tremere and Malkavians made it tho. Those were my favourites in the original.
Now let's hope the game is still coming out, and if it does, I hope it is at least decent. I really need more vampire games, and I am not picky.

I know I'm probably late to the party but I figured I'd post this here anyway. There is a "pass" available for pre-order called Season of the Wolf which is meant to add in the Vampire's "greatest" enemy. That to me means the Garou (Werewolves). It also made me think that out of the clans we have seen so far that, none of them really know anything about the Garou or are properly equipped to deal with the Garou. Remember, even Elder Kindred fear young Garou. So I made a prediction with my friend and I'll say here as well to see what other people think. My prediction is that when Season of the Wolf comes out, they also add in the Gangrel clan as playable. As the Gangrel are the best equipped and know the most out of the main 13 clans about the Garou. I hope I am wrong honestly because the Gangrel was my first clan in Bloodlines 1 and have been one of my personal favourites in both the video game and the tabletop game. Anyway, that is my prediction, Season of the Wolf will add in Werewolves and Clan Gangrel, hope I am wrong.

Its not strange feeling at all if you've perceived it. You must have invested in perception, wise choice neonate. What you see is correct, the devs are uninspired and even fired two of their best team members who loving worked on this game for five years. One of those members even wrote an open letter on twitter expressing their sadness and also wish for the game legacy to be continued just as lovingly. Pitiful humans with their fragile emotions. Perhaps I will arrange my hacker malkavian friend to pay them a visit...in return for some vitae, he can pour forth his genius into their brains...their inevitable mental fracturing is a small price to pay, wouldn't you say?
c j well I am a malkavian at heart so it only makes sense, kindred. It’s a shame they would fire the only individuals that have nothing but genuine love and passion for the game. I remember all through out middle schools nd high school I use to draw vtmb, years and years and years after it was released, hoping that one day I could remake the game itself and. Ring back the masterpiece, obviously that didn’t happen and a much bigger company beat me way to the punch but it’s unfortunate with what they’ve turned it into. I’ll put it this way, if I wanted to play GTA with vampire mods, I would do that. 🤷♂️

I had really high hopes for this game until I found out you start as a thin blood you can’t choose your own clan. You can only choose the one you support. I’m out that takes all the fun away
That’s actually not true anymore. Yes you do start out as a thin blood but only for the tutorial. Once the tutorial is done then you select which clan you want and you become that vampire, no longer a thin blood
You start a thin bloods then Diablerize a clan of your choice

Lasombra, quite possible, they're shadow manipulators. Tzimisce? Maybe not, they don't look human, they don't care about hiding what they look like, that breaks the game's goal of Masquerade. At least, the Nosferatu can be invisible or can copy other people. Well, higher Tzimisce can have a Doppleganger ability but I doubt that would be open for a new blood.
I keep wishing to see a good Lasombra. Obtenebration is difficult to do though.
@@pepethefrog6809 aren't the tzimisce human at the start and defrm themselfs with visisitude later on to bekome more monster like? So a young tzimisce would be ok
@@hulmhochberg8129 there's also that kind of tzimi who make themselves weirdly pretty. But maybe that'd be a bit boring, it depends on how they build up the character throughout the story

These are the playable clans, yes. You start the game as a thin-blood and later join a clan.

The initial spark or jet of fire will not cause frenzy as long as you're the one creating it. Any fire that is born from that first spark however will be out of your control and will require a frenzy check if you get too close to it. In other words, you can use a flamethrower, but you better keep your distance from any uncontrolled fires you start with it.
@@YanniusX I must confess I am quite rusty with my Vampire knowledge (probably ten years since I don't play), so I might be wrong, but I seem to remember a manual suggesting that lightning your own cigarette was difficulty 5? This is 2nd edition of course.
