    This thing is like vacation. My room doesn’t cycle cool air and it gets hot when excessive heat is happening. Now I’m saved. Thanks man!

    Remember folks, evap coolers ONLY work best in a climate that has humidity of 60% or less, outside or in a room. I live in Southern Ca and it don't work here because the humidity is always at 80% or higher.. Instead, I bought myself a portable AC for my bedroom and it's great. 👍

    Is this the same tech that is used in the in those mini aircoolers?
    This was helpful.
    I might get this for my parents. They have old wiring and can't have an AC unit. I would get a smaller one though.

      Yes, I have seen small aircoolers that operate similarly.
      I appreciate your support!

    @coachhelder What a great product from a very reputable company. I like that it is usable outdoors as well as indoors. As usual you are spot on in your review. Thank you so much for showing the way. 👍👍

    I just bought one but when I turn on the cool feature for my garage it doesn’t seem like it’s helping. Did you have the same problem?

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před 4 lety +2

      Hello Johnny, when you turn on the cool feature, is the water trickling down the sides, saturating the honeycombs?
      It also works best with 60% or less humidity.

    Do you use the cooler in your studio with windows/doors closed or open? Also, do you know what kind of temp difference this cooler makes in the studio? I know you said it makes it comfortable instead of intolerable, but wondering if you ever did a temp check. Thanks in advance! Cheers.

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před 3 lety

      Hello Bryan, it doesn't affect the temperature much at all. I keep a window or side door open for more ventilation.
      For me, it has performed incredibly well in an outdoor setting. During these blistering summer days that are intolerable as far as the heat, this fan has come to the rescue and kept us comfortable on our outside patio. Instead of being stuck inside during the heatwave, we are able to keep enjoying the outdoors.
      Summers are short and this fan certainly allows us to enjoy a bit more of the summer months, while we can.

    Hi Coach
    Wanted to know a couple of things
    1. How is this model different from CL810PM from Honeywell itself?
    2. How is the fan motor mounted? Is it mounted on a ABS tower like other air coolers? Because where I stay, the water quality isn't good and we have to clean our air coolers regularly and thoroughly. Having that tower like mounting of the motor makes the inside and the base inaccessible to clean.
    Hoping for an early response as I am about to book it for my home.
    Thanks and cheers!!

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello Aryan, I am not familiar with the other Honeywell models, only this one. The fan is mounted in the tower. The honeycombs that get saturated with the water, are easy to get to and replace. With bad water quality, you may have to replace them more often.
      My family definitely enjoys this fan and we have gotten a lot of use out of it; both indoors and outdoors.
      Good luck.

      @@CoachHelder Thanks man. If you don't mind, could you please somehow share a small clip ( like CZcams shorts ) or some images from inside PLEASE. I am asking this from you because no one, literally no one has made any video, review on this air cooler or has given any physical overview other than you. YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT YOURSELVES.
      And i believe I'm better off using an aspen pad ( wood wool )based cooler then.
      Thank you for reverting back.

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před 3 lety

      You are welcome, Aryan. To be honest, I have a lot of projects on my plate so I do not have time to make another video for this Honeywell. Have you checked the Honeywell website for more specs and pictures?

    Love the vid man! I have a question though, how do you maintain when not using it? Do you empty it out? Do you leave the water in? Help

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před 3 lety

      Thank you, Gilberto!
      In the winter, I empty it and put it in my garage. In the summer months, I use it frequently so I fill it daily.

      Question Coach, are you able to keep hose pressure on while in use when unit turned off?

    • @CoachHelder
      @CoachHelder  Před rokem

      I fill it up manually through the hole on top when needed. I haven't needed to continually fill it for my daily use and my outdoor faucet is relatively far from where I stage my unit.
      Sorry that I cannot be much help on that issue.
