i'm curious as to why he''s still playing in reasonsabl small venues with audiences such as this, who, quite frankly, don't seem that bothered. Why is he not selling out arenas and playing in huge venues where the crowd know every word of every song? I just think he should be considerably more famous than he is, given his talent

@Loumeister21 He did a tour of Ireland, and i seen him in Cavan and Belfast, one night after another, he was amazing.
I just don't understand how every single person there isn't completely transfixed.
I only discovered him last year when I saw him in the movie, "Song One", purchased the soundtrack and started researching his music. I hope as he gets older and more seasoned he might write at least a few songs that transcend personal experience and speak more to universal themes...or maybe I'm just not intelligent enough to understand some of his lyrics. They have beautiful imagery either way.
moronextraordinnaire I think "The Wrote And The Writ" is a good example of when he sings and writes from personal experience and a universal theme. I just thought I'd recommend it on the off chance you haven't heard that one :) x

Because even if you are considered 'attractive' according to beauty ideals, you've been used to it because you've been in your body all your lfie since birth. So it's not special to you yourself. And people reminding you look attractive according to beauty ideals, are just telling you they can't see you for the human you are.
Kind-hearted "ugly" people, and kind-hearted "beautiful" people suffer the same way: No one sees them for who they truly are, and we all keep that bullshit going by projecting our own sadness onto someone else's ugliness or beauty. Either with insults or compliments.
