Great to see Michael Ryan - the LEGEND! He was the best Marine Band announcer ever. And singing wonderfully here - in his early 70s, I think.

This is Col. Gabriel's prelude concert of music performed at Normandy at the 70th anniversary with band of American Musicians. Many of the consistently outstanding VA Grand Military Band musicians joined him in that historic concert. Maestro Schissel has created an organization of unusually fine complexity of music and musicians performing in an acoustically fine attractive concert hall. The programing has great public appeal as displayed by the applause.

Correction. D-Day 70th Ann was 2014 so concert this is the year following in 2015, however, Col. Gabriel did do his prelude concert with the VA Grnd Mil. Band for their Memorial Day concert in 2014 featuring music from the countries involved in wwII.
