Surprisingly, even if the ILIFE V5S Pro does not have a motorized brush, it performed better than the more expensive Roomba 694 picking up 41 out of the 40 grams I scattered on the floor.
The Roomba wasn't too shabby either. Out of the 40 grams, it managed to pick up 39 grams.
One big advantage the Roomba has over the V5S Pro would be the smartphone app that allows you to control the robot even if you're not at home.

I have the V5S pro from 2017, about 160€ and used It every day until now, 2023. Changed only brushes and one time the battery pack (about 18€). Top!
I just bought the iLife V5 and I love it. It has helped a lot more than I expected. I'm very happy with the purchase.

It's important to note that the Roomba has a roller brush but the V5S does not. This probably does not matter on hard floors where suction is more important but the roller brush not only loosens dirt from carpets but brushes the carpets removing footprints and giving it a more groomed appearance.
I have noticed the the V5S tends to avoid the capture area around it's docking station when it is cleaning as if the infrared beacons were a virtual wall. It would be interesting to see how the Roomba virtual walls affected the V5S.
My V5S once wrapped up the power cable for the docking station around one of it's spinner brushes so you may not want to lie the power cable along the floor by the baseboard.
I find the Eufy 11S to pick up more than the V5S does.
I kinda miss the spiral patterns of the original Roomba. Everyone uses the bounce and edge algorithm for the basic robovacs these days.

Love my IRobot Roomba 690🌼 and I would recommend it because is a nice cleaning robot that does the work responsibly.
It appears that you used the remote alot - I thought it was a "set it and forget it"?
The extra gram the V5S means it picked up a gram of micro dirt since it has hepa and probably better suction. Visiting your site since Prime day is coming and available at such a good price.
It has been used several times and loved.

I second on this, bought ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner last month & it started working intermittently, had a feel that it will be dead in next few weeks. As mentioned, customer care of ILife is useless & don’t respond.
Motherboard of ILIFE Vacuum Cleaner bought two months ago got corrupted. There is no customer care in ILife, when complained about motherboard damaged, they talk about charging, absolute waste.
Taking cues from positive feedback on youtube, bought this ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner this year & it stopped working in less than 6 months with no response from seller on warranty & repair.
This product ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner is completely crap & did not survive for even 2 months , not sure how come so many positive reviews are there on CZcams, it seems Ilife is trying to mislead & using fake reviews to sell their crap product.
It seems like the American Irobot Romba 690 got beat by this model of the Ilife 5s Pro. It'll be interesting to see more tests done by average consumers.

Well, if you mean robot monkeys, I'm okay with that, for example Spot from Boston Dynamics with vacuum on him should be great robot vacuum with best navigation, which should also clean tables, sofas and other furniture, and stairs+upstairs :D
