Snowstorm slams Washington, DC area | Rush Hour

A winter storm packing heavy snow blew into the nation’s capital on Monday, closing government offices and schools and grounding the president’s helicopter. As much as 10 inches of snow was forecast for the District of Columbia, northern Virginia and central Maryland through the afternoon.

I’m sure my fellow uncaring, unsafe, uninformed, and unintelligent truck drivers were *tailgating* not only cars but other big trucks in the snow, thinking they could defy the laws of physics on the Virginia I-95 corridor, resulting in another unnecessary pile up on America’s roadways.

They didn't see this coming????? I live in the Midwest and I saw it coming --- it came here and gone and was heading east.. THE WEATHER CHANNEL WAS TELLING EVERYONE HUNKER DOWN EAST COAST A MAJOR SNOW STORM FOR DAYS..--- WE ALL HAVE SMARTPHONES AND NOBODY THOUGHT-- MAYBE I SHOULD HOLD OFF BEING ON THE ROADS TODAY--- I KNOW WE ALL WORK TO GO TOO BUT IS OUR LIFE AND PROPERTY WORTH THE RISK OF ONE DAY OF A SNOW EVENT?????
