Yeah we had like 14 inches in the part of NC we lived in. Fun times. *update* it was 18 inches by the end of it.

15 inches is something we are not used to here in virginia. It may seem like a dusting to some of y'all but it seemed like a blizzard almost to us. Lost power here also.

Fun fact, Global Warming doesn’t just make the temperature warmer and cause more hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, etc. It can also cause snow storms, don’t ask why, because I’m not so sure about it either.

That's what trucking company's do push till something happens, then turn around and say they never said nothing to the driver. DOT treats truckers like trash and so does the company you work for.

We don't get normal snow. It's ice. We know how to drive in it. Just people from up North who live down here think they can drive in it and find out real quick...they can't. The weather isn't the problem. It's northerners (aka yankees) thinking they know everything (like always) and they really don't.

I drive a rear wheel drive car with all season tires in northern Michigan. I never have any problems in the winter besides sliding in an area where we get almost 300 inches of snow in the winter with many 1+ foot storms. Sure my state had better funding for plows, salt, and sand but come on. Before blaming Yankees why don't your learn how to drive and compensate for sliding on snowy ICY roads and stop complaining.

Try driving that in Michigan with several 4,800 ft mountains to climb or descend. Try it after a week of 60 degree rain on warm roads freezes overnight and then gets two feet of snow in elevations. Especially when it is the first storm of the season. Each region has different situations for what appears to be similar weather. Same with the heat. Same with wind storms.

@@STho205 I've seen it snow on the 4th of July in Michigan . We average 180 inches of snow a year do you know what lake affect snow is . The wind that come off that big lake would rip your hide off 80 below zero wind chills .

I lived in Nc and I think they just need snow driving lessons everyone drives fast weather there rain snow or sun shine it’s not really normal to see 10-20 car pile ups there is such thing as defensive driving big tip there is also such thing as all season tires
