Schlenkerla Helles is brewed with fine Bavarian aroma hops from the area around the city of Nürnberg. It's lagered in century old caves underneath the historic Schlenkerla brewery and maltings. Schlenkerla Helles is boiled in the same copper kettles and bottom fermented by the same yeast as the historic Schlenkerla Smokebeer. Its subtle smokiness without using smoke malt makes Helles Schlenkerla Lager a unique representative of the classic lager beer style Bavarian Helles.

Good one. German Helles is their answer to a Pilsener beer, but the Helles is usually not as bitter as the Pils. There are very many good Helles beers. I like the Exports also, they are a little sweeter than the Helles and a nice body. Cheers !
I enjoy Helles but sometimes brewers make them too sweet but this sounds perfect for me, I'll look out for this, cheers Don 🍻
Yeah, nothing worse than an oversweet beer. I think you'd enjoy this as the bitterness made it more like a Pils than a Helles. Cheers 🍻

Nice smooth drink, nothing spectacular but they do a fantastic marzen…think it’s got a yellow label on bottle
