I’d watch a whole new playthrough when 1.0 comes out. Starting in a new area would probably be good.
Glad to hear about CS2 and the Manor Lords stuff! If you want to know everything to resolve after the big CS2 patch, City Planner Plays put out a nice short video on how you can 'save' your existing save and your options for that.
I agree that a new play through in 1.0 would be great, but is there a scenario where both could be done?
I know this depends on your scheduling, burnout prevention and viewer demand; but a few Cities streamers were simultaneously wrapping up their CS1 maps while starting CS2. You could even maintain the livestream format for 0.8 and get your experience in the late game while doing an edited, restarted lets play.

One thing that really causes me frustration is deciding, do big, go small or go exact... How do you decide on your scale? Do you decide on an item you want to produce, then find a suitable area and grab everything there and produce the max, or is there more maths involved?

WRT restarting; you are a master of efficiency, but as you said before, you tend to build boxes. You could focus on efficient plug aesthetics. That would be an actual difference.
(Not that your builds aren't attractive, they just lean toward utilitarian.)
He used to try on builds, but discovered it took too long and viewers kinda didnt care, they were more interested in the logistics of his build

How do you reselect entire blueprints and delete all at once? Is that a blueprint mod or something?
Take out dismantle tool, press R
@@kristofferhagen4242 I also use this trick to copy a blueprint. Hit R to switch to “blueprint dismantle” then middle mouse button to select the blueprint for copying.
Not sure why, but on this video i'm getting an ad about every 1~2 minutes, makes this unwatchable
Oh weird, it mustve done automatic placement. I’ll fix that asap! Automatic placement is insane.
Edit, yup, it was literally every 3 mins. Madness, fixed now to 1 every 20min. Thanks for letting me know.

Whoa I’m first!!!
If you start over for 1.0 I won't be watching anymore. The whole point for me was to see some mid/end game which I never experienced on my own due to lack of time.
