My dad always said it's good to eat fast but he always makes me eat a lot even when im not hungry so i end up eating slower and start feeling sick but my dad says to finish it even if i say "I will eat it later when i can actually eat more."
I feel disrespectful if I don’t finish my food and no one else can eat it. Like I’ll give my lunch away since it’s all packaged but not like pancakes on an already served plate. I’ll force myself to eat it. At restaurants, my family tells me to stop eating and that we’ll take the leftovers home. But I’m still there cleaning my plate after a lot of food. 🥲 Have you tried pretending to go to the bathroom to stop eating? Or purposefully forget something(like water) so you can have a short break? Or get your hands messy so you have to go wash them. Just so you can stand up and let the food digest instead of shoving more into your stomach.
