Got to listen to LOVEBEAT once again this morning in 360 Reality Audio on TIDAL after seeing Balance (2021 Optimized Re-Master) in my Release Radar on Spotify. Really taken aback by just how high the quality the sound is on these new mixes- having listened to it in both 360 and MASTER. Tracks like In and Out, Spiral Never Before and Echo Endless Echo seem to all have a new life of their own with this increase to fidelity. In some cases, it’s as if the mix had changed compared to how I remembered certain aspects to a song drilled in my head, so naturally I went back and forth from the original and this remaster to make sure it’s not just placebo. Very impressive!
