I’ve used the Avispa for years but the pocket clip placement is a major flaw . When configured for tip up carry the pocket clip rides on the lock bar and actually adds spring tension to it making it harder to disengage the lock . Try it in tip down carry and you’ll notice the lock bar is easier to move because the pocket clip isn’t touching it .

To be honest the Avispa could use some tweaking for sure! Still overall a great knife but could be WAY better. Thanks for the info!
I've bought 8 Rat 1s .Kept 3 for myself and gave the others as gifts. I like scales on both sides of my knife.

Yeah the thumb stud needs to be moved up some - not in the best spot 😅
