    Regularly flushing out your hot water heater is an important task. Getting rid of the gunk and mineral deposits that accumulate will help your hot water heater run more efficiently as well as prolong its life, saving you money in the long run. It is also good for your personal hygiene.
    Flushing of geysers is very simple.

    Verma Ji, meri problem bahut strange hai. Mera geyser 12 saal purana hai (thermoking ka hai). Mai ground floor me rahta hu aur paani ki tanki bathroom me hai. Kuchh solution bataye.

      Mahinder Rawat ji Thanks for asking.
      Isme aap 2 points chek karen
      1. Aapke Geyser se tank ki height kam se kam 5-6 feet honi chahiye.
      2. Tank se jo pipe geyser me aa raha hai oosi pipe mein tank se ooper ki taraf extra hollow pipe lagi honi chahiye air lene ky liye. Agar air lene ke liye pipe nahi hogi to baar baar pani band ho jayga.
      Ek bbar yah bhi check kijiye ki aapke tank ka paani thoda heat to nahi ho jata hai, agar aisa hai to aapke geyser ka valve kharaab hoga.

    Mera geyser ek baar cut off hone ke baad reheat nahi karta. Electrician ne thermostat change kar diya par phir bhi panni ek baar heat hota hai, geyser cut off ho jaata hai par fir se paani heat nahi hota.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks for asking me a solution.
      Agar thermostat change karne ke Baad bhi heat nahi ho raha hai to following points check kijiye
      1. geyser se pahle ki wiring, switch, MCB sab ok hain?
      2. Kisi kisi geyser mein do thermostat hote hain. Doosre mein bhi problem ho sakta hai.
      Thermostat ki settings 110 se 140 degree Fahrenheit ke beech mein hi honi chahiye. Koshish Karen 110 pe rakhne ka.
      Thermostat trip hone pe usse reset karna padta hai ek chhote se knob Ko daba kar. Ye bhi check kar lijiye ki thermostat trip to nahi ho rakhha hai. Agar trip hoga to thermostat pe ek indicator glow karega.
      3. Heating element kharab ho sakta hai.
      4. Agar electricity ka jyada idea na ho to technician ko dkhwa lijiye..

    Inlet safety valve mein jo non return valve hota hai us se toh ek side se hi paani flow hota hai, mtlb ki inlet se pani geyser mein jayega lekin wapis geyser se inlet ki taraf nhi aa skta ..kya yeh shi hai,? Toh geyser ki inlet se paani kaise aane lga jb apne uski pipe ko khol diya drain krne ke liye?

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Aapka idea kaafi had tak sahi he. Yeh ek multifunction valve hai. Jab manual lever fully close hai tab ye NRV ki tarah kaam karega. Jab manual legar open kar dete hain tab ye NRV ki tarah kam nahi karta. Lever utha dene se paani inlet hose se wapas girne lagega. Ye pressure regulator ki tarah v kaam karta hai.

      Huge requests are coming for video on servicing for salt layers, I will try to make a video soon. If you're confident in electrical works then open the geyser housing, disconnect and remove heating element. Put the element in vinegar. After descaling bis complete put back all connections in place. Before restarting the gayser flush well as shown in this video.
      To reduce salt accumulation perform the flushing process atleast twice or thrice ina year as shown in this video.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you sir for your valuable comments
      Geyser sizing for family of 4 :
      If there is no or very rare power cut then any size between 15 to 25 litres would be ok. But if there is considerable power cut then for 4 person the capacity would be around 25 litre.
      I am using 15 litres cropton Arno for 4 persons and not facing any deficiency of warm water, though power cut is very rare in my area.
      In my opinion best brands are
      Bajaj (especially : Bajaj Calenta , somewhat costlier), Bajaj majesty Bajaj Shakti
      V-Guard Calino
      Crompton Solarium, Crompton Arno, cropmton Amica
      Havells instanio
      It is very hard to find an exchange offer online for a geyser. Offline sellers may also offer such deals.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 3 lety +2

      For de-scaling of accumulated salt you should perform thorough internal cleaning only if you are technically capable or else call a technician. For temporary arrangement you may do one thing that remove power plug open water hose connector at outlet pipe of geyser, take a thin metal rod and insert it inside the the geyser through outlet pipe stir gently inside and clear the passage. Flush many times during process. Reconnect all things back. It will work for some time. Caution: Don't insert rod in inlet pipe.

      For a small distance (non concealed wiring) like 5 to 10m you may use 2.5 sq mm. But for a concealed wiring or for a longer distance upto 20-25m use 4 mm. Use 3 core wire with correct earthing. For outlet plug use 16 amp plug.

      Yes an easier way is : empty the geyser then fill it with dilute vinegar leave it for 5-6 hours. Then again empty and flush well. But in this process you will not able to see the actual status of salt accumulation and descaling level. Better if you know electrical works then completely open the heating element break tha salt layers, put the element in actual vinegar keep stirring the element. After dissolving the salt layers clean the tank and refit back every thing. Flush well. If not confident then call a qualified technician. Thanks for asking.

      @@ShishuTechno sir, in some heaters, like old venus heaters, they put 2 terminals, the connections are complicated. I we call a electrician min 500 rs + removing , fitting it back etc.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 2 lety

      500 rs is ok , because same rate they charge in my area. To reduce maintenance cost you may consider installing an appropriate water softener cartridge in inlet line. For this also you have to call a plumber. If supply water TDS is high you should install a water softener kit. Though I have never worked on water softeners.

      Iska solution mujhe thik se pata nahi chal pa raha. But mujhe lagta hai. Aapke water supply mein pressure bka issue hai ya to geyser ka multifunction valve mein issue hoga. Agar geyser warranty mein hai to technician ko call kar lijiye. Ya plumber bjp dikha lijiye.

    I am having foul smell issue with my geyser outlet while my non geyser outlet is perfectly fine. Can you please advise on some solution.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 2 lety +1

      Foul smell might be due to old stored water in your geyser or due to prolong dampness inside geyser. Drain your geyser completely twice or thrice as shown in video. Also drain fully hot water twice through tap. Hopefully it will solve the issue.

    क्या बाथरूम में 3ltr का इंस्टेंट gyser सही रहेगा या 25 लीटर का स्टोरेज gyser
    बाथरूम में मिक्सर लगा है, 10 इंच का शावर हेड लगा है और घर मे प्रेशर बूस्टर पंप भी लगा हुआ है। परिवार में सिर्फ 2 एडल्ट और 2 बच्चे हैं, ज्यादातर शावर से ही नहाया जाता है।

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 2 lety +2

      आपके फैमिली साइज के लिए इंस्टेंट गीजर ठीक नहीं है। कम से कम 15 लीटर का गीजर लगेगा। अगर लाइट जाती है तो 25 लीटर का लगेगा। 15 लीटर से कम का लगाने पर पीक विंटर में थोड़ी दिक्कत हो सकती है। इंस्टेंट गीजर केवल एक या दो लोगों के लिए या किचेन के लिए ठीक रहता है।

      Safety valve ko bhi khol denge to paani jaroor nikal aayega. Fir safety valve ko waapas laga dijiye. Safety valve lagaana jaroori hai.

      Thank you mam for watching.
      Ek hi saal mein unusual sound nahi aana chahiye. Pahle to aap achhe se isse drain kar lijiye 3-4 baar. Agar tap se paani nikalte time sound aa raha hai to geyser ka multifunction valve kharaab hoga, jo ki geysey ke baahar laga rahta hai. Aur agar heating ke time sound aati hai to andar mein salts ki scaling deposit ho gayi hai, jise mechanic hi thik karenge. Pahle aap achhe se drain kar lijiye aur multifunction valve ko bhi khol kar clean kar lijiye. Agar multifunction valve se apne aap paani waapas aata hai to velvet kharaab hoga.

    • @ShishuTechno
      @ShishuTechno  Před 2 lety

      Kitchen mein frequent water use hota hai, so instant geyser lagaana sahi hai, 2 to 5 litre as per family size, kisi achhe brand ka laga sakte hain. Temperature ko minimum side rakhe so that hands burn na ho. Thanks for asking.
